What are the worst handling car in the Project Cars?

Which cars are the toughest to tame? Trying to learn more about tuning in Project Cars and looking for a place to start.

Most of the vintage cars, due to the tires, will like be harder to tame. Check out the RUF CTR Yellowbird and the Lotus 49.

Lotus 98T F1 car, you lose control by changing gears already. The moment I start pushing this car to be fast, I lose it, it's incredible and horrible at the same time.

Sauber and BMW LMR. I don't know if it's mechanical or aero I just can't get the front to agree with me. Entry understeer killing my lap times.

Have you driven it with the 67/68 tyres? It's much better and not much slower than the nasty 72 slicks that just snaps and bites.

    Are you using h-shift?
I think default this car may have a bit too soft springs. Stiffer springs and more front wing gets it nicely sorted for me. Also I tweak the gears to try keep on boost.

Don't EVER drive the 49 on anything but the Bias Ply tires. The whole point of that thing is to float around the corners in a 4 wheel drift. You try to force that thing to drive like a modern open wheeler and you'll be in the barrier.

Its more about letting the car do what it wants. Its a shame its so understeery though. They weren't that hard to get the nose pointed to the inside of the corner.

Ideally, you need it to flick into a corner initially and either be neutral or counter steering all the way through the corner. Throttle control is key, left foot braking is a must and if you can't heel-toe... don't bother showing up lol.

    I can heel-toe. I can't left foot brake and heel-toe!
I had set up the 49 with stiffer rear to get it slide more. It works, but I need to improve my throttle control. Maybe I need to set it softer so the weight shift works better.
Edit: nice video. Looks about right. What track is that? I need to take round Rouen and bannochbrae and Silverstone classic. I've driven it at Hock Classic and Monza only.

That's Bannochbrae. Such a great track for these old beauties.

It is a beautiful track. Those crests keep you on your toes in anything without wings.
