    Vehicle Data

Iím currently working on my senior thesis, in which Iím using the telemetry data of Project CARS as an input for a driving dynamics model. Is it possible to get more detailed data about the vehicles, like track, position of the centre of gravity or even tyre characteristics?

Thanks for your reply, but receiving the telemetry data is not my problem

I think you should ask your question in the dedicated Third-Party Apps & API Discussion thread. I think it's more likely to find any "expert" there than in the general discussion

Track is in the API, assuming you mean the name. We don't get much more than that currently. CoG isn't exposed and the only tyre characteristics are temp, pressure and the surface they are on.

    Hey MikeyTT,

first of all thank you for your amazing app!
I already receive all the telemetry data via Raspberry Pi in a Simulink model. This is rather meant as an request to the pCARS developers to share some more detailed data about the vehicles. Is there maybe another way to address them? Because the support tells me that all Project CARS support requests are handled exclusively via the forum.

I can't guarantee it, but it's very unlikely that they will release anything more, or change the API for pCars 1. They are heavily in development for pCars 2, which is due later this year. If there is anything specific you're after, I'll be more than happy to request it (assuming you're not already part of WMD2).

Probably best to seek out one of the moderators and ask them the question. They will have a better idea than I...
