I don't there there will be an update with official support for it but people have had success setting it up as a custom wheel and assigning the functions themselves.

I think you got your point across loud and clear in the last post.

I have a CSW v2.5 and guess what.... there's no pretty picture of that for me to select either in game - but instead of ranting and raving guess what I did - assigned buttons and within a couple of minutes everything works just fine......

The sky is not falling down over this....

The "packs" were released many months ago - this is now a legacy game - it was supported in the first year of release with almost monthly patches and DLC's.

Just start off with one of the thrustmaster pre-sets and assign all the controls that aren't automatically picked up.. it's not difficult. Or go with a full custom wheel settings (either should work fine, but using a TM based starting point may get some functions for menu control)

pCARS is more about driver support than a specific wheel. i.e. if the drivers are universal from the manufacturer, then the wheel will work. The only issue is that there won't be a "preset config" for the wheel which is all the current presets provide. If the wheel is using a universal driver from the manufacturer, all you need to do is manually setup the wheel/buttons and you are good to go. This should be the case with any of the current Fanatec or Thrustmaster wheels.

The wheel will work to Drive, Shift etc all that is Normal... the part thats Missing is the Thumb Sticks will Not Navigate the Menu...I cant Scroll through Car settings, Tracks or Car list using the Thumb stick on the Porsche rim anymore.... I found a work around for Now... I made the VR pointer speed 1 sec and I activated the Mouse feature in the Fanatec Wheel controle panel and use the Push button on the thumb stick as a Hot Key to enter Choices.... But i still Need a Joystick Controler to Navigate any setting that Scroll/ Not point and Click... Any Hoot the work around is working Fine so Im Not complaining.... Do you know of any way to Map the Rim joysticks back so i can use them to Scroll again???

Question Do you know if PC PCars will eventually get updated for the V2.5??? We Know PS4 wont get the update Nor does the v2.5 work with PS4 PCars... Yup i tried it... Thats a No Go!!!

I believe there are other Thrustmaster wheels with the same limitation (i.e. in wheel movement functions which cannot directly be used). If those haven't been touched, it's doubtful the Fanatec v2.5 will be. However, none of us here have any insight to what SMS may or may not do so even with the moderators it's pure speculation.
