I know I said I didn't want to work on the Mitsubishis, but I regrettably decided to try anyway. I picked the Evolution IX FQ360 (that's a mouthful). I noticed that there were usually the same 5 or 6 people who were doing ok with these cars and an occaisional Alien. I am ashamed to admit just how long it took me to realize that the viscous lock was set to 50(Good Grief). I set it, finally, to 78 and began making some incremental progress. I've managed to plod my way to 4th, not my only 4th but certainly my most difficult one. I just can't seem to get comfortable driving this car, too top heavy. Other cars will lift the inside rear tire on me but not to the degree this one does. I am going to leave this for now at a 1:35.396. This is my 83 car run using -1.7 camber at Dubai National.

I just ran the FQ400, 2nd at 1:35.060, this one was easier on me, less punishing.

    Bikes wrecked-77 Suzuki RM125, 78 Honda Elsinore 250, 81 Honda CB900F, 2000 Kawsaki ZX12R(2), 2001 Honda F4I, 2005 Yamaha R1. A bike hasn't been made I couldn't wreck, spectacularly, but I'm retired now.

Progress so far for -1.7 camber testing at the Dubai tracks. I have made 227 (85 at Dubai National) runs out of the possible 500 at these tracks. 57 1st's, 48 2nd's, 36 3rd's 24 4th's, 12 5th's, 33 6th's through 10th's and the remaining scattered all the way down to 46th (I have made an additional 100 runs with some of these cars at other tracks). I am slowly improving my driving and tuning capabilities while doing this. These runs are made with the spring and damper settings from the Dubai National track. As tempting as it is to start adjusting on the spring and damper pages I am going to continue testing without modifying these pages with the goal of around 340 runs before I start the modifications to these settings.
What a wonderful, challenging, rewarding game this is.

Pagani Huayra. Dubai Club 1st, GP 3rd, International 2nd and National 1st. I was able to improve all my positions by moving the brake bias to 48 and tweaking the downforce. However, embarrassingly, I had also left the tire selection on Automatic by weather and for some reason I was getting the mediums instead of the softs. I guess I was given the medium because of the ambient being 99 but you can get a couple of fast laps with the softs.

Dubai International Paganis. Huayra-2nd, Huayra BC-3rd, Cinque roadster-3rd, Zonda R-2nd and Revolucion-1st(setup attached). Might be able to improve slightly. The Huayra BC and the Cinque are the more challenging to drive for me.

BAC Mono. Dubai GP-5th, International-4th and National-4th. 1st, 2nd and 3rd are the same players and order for National and International. 2 of 4 are the same for GP. I didn't run Club, my previous experience with other cars would indicate I need to make changes to the suspension to be better at this track with this car. I made no brake bias or air pressure changes for the 3 runs I did make. All runs were on the initial lap, I don't think you gain much with the soft tires running a 2nd lap but let me know if I'm incorrect. I guess this car could be fun by the way you can slide it both on the gas and brakes

Oh. I looked up Club, there must have been a community event at this track back in March and there are over 1,000 runs made during this time so my plan for not adjusting the suspension would definitely leave me at a disadvantage at a track I already dislike. Maybe later just to humiliate myself I'll see if I can make Page 1.
Ok, changed air pressure by lowering the fronts in particular on the right and lowered right rear (trying to force the car to turn to the softer tires) as well as changing brake bias to 49 since the brakes will be cold and the tires losing heat/pressure. Made one run and stormed myself up to 81st with a 1:02.877. Oh well work to do.

When I crashed my game and started setting up my cars 7/8 I had previously completed 52 runs at Dubai International. As of today I have made 84 runs total many with cars I hadn't run before at other tracks. I started with 27 runs first through 3rd before 7/8and now have 40. I made an effort to improve the GT3 cars. I ended up with the Vantage GT3 in 7th, GTE in 2nd, LMS Ultra in 8th, BMW GT in 8th, Z4 in 13th, Bentley in 1st, ATS-V in 4th, C7.R in3rd, G55 in 5th, McLaren in 8th, AMG GT3 in 2nd, SLS 3rd and Ruf RGT3 in 15th. My quickest car was the LMS at 1:35.079 followed by the SLS and then the Vantage GT3. I made a couple of runs without changes and was able to place the LMS in 15th at the GP track. I would have liked to have been able to place all the GT3's in the top 10 but these cars require a degree of suspension changes that is mind numbing (for me) and the Z4 and Ruf have really good driver/tuners so I don't know if I can move these cars up even when I make changes in the future. The GT3 that works best for me is the LMS Ultra and next best is the SLS (this is an odd car to me, if I ease into the tires for the first 3 laps they seem to hook up better and usually my best lap is the 4th but that is a lot of laps to run to get a good time and maybe why it isn't as popular as some others). Sorry I haven't been able to put as much effort into some of the other favorite cars but I am tired and toward the end I was making runs just to get them done. I am starting to like the Ruf RGT8, RT 12 r and the P1, all cars I hadn't really tried before the testing.
