    Measure twice, cut once
You could go custom window winder (the lever), change to a shorter handle/lever?
The speakers fit perfectly...i just can't fan out my filler too much/ thick on the side where the crack is...i think with fiberglass i can solve the problem though...

The issue here is that i can't go to far/thick with my filler because than the lever for rolling down my window will be in the way...
The lever moves across the gray part on the picture so if i put some fiberglass matting on it with a thin layer of filler i should be good imo...

    Aha!

How will you paint the vinyl on the existing panel without it flaking off, and isn't there a danger of your filler cracking every time someone slams the door shut?

It's actually plastic so that won't be a real problem...
And i think when i use the "matting" the problem of the cracking might be solved too...

    Matting will fix it.
You might need to sand the plastic trim lightly for the paint to stick

You put your left pedal in, You take your left pedal out,
You put your right pedal in, And you slide it all about...

Wear a dust mask. And use a proper primer too.

Man, this is taking me back to my modelling days during my industrial design degrees. MDF, machining, body filler, chemical metal, fibreglass, resin, lots of sanding, spray booth...

It's all probably modelled on computers now.

    Remember to overfill.
You'll take a lot of material off when sanding it.
The filler area around the pods will be smooth and the plastic trim area will have a different texture.
Unless you fill the whole plastic trim area and sand the whole lot smooth. Even then you might get cracks from flexing, depends on the type of filler used.
