Yeah...been thinking about how to fix that problem...if i cover the whole thing the possibility of cracks increases but if i don't you'll see a difference in textures...
    I use polyester filler btw...

You could put a layer of matting or fibreglass with the filler over the plastic? I'm not sure how that would go over time, but it will smooth out.
Again, depending how long you're planning to keep it.

What tire compound were you using?
    What was your tire pressure?
What was the track and tire temperatures?

Well if it cracks and looks terrible after a while, you can use it to build a mold for a full fibreglass door card

    Looking good Konan.
Just a suggestion when mounting the speakers. You may or may not need permission from your wife for this. , is to grab a pair of her nylons, cut legs off, and place speakers inside of nylons to keep dust/dirt from falling into speaker cones, then secure the speaker grills.

    Bummer about the paint.

I haven't seen a problem with dust on the speaker cone. The grills protect it. Dust shakes off/out.
But the nylon stocking isn't a half bad idea.
    Keen to see the pics.
Thinking about it: polyester filler should have enough flex to not crack with the door cards.

    Edit: looking good!
