I think he is talking about animation of the wheel when there is no input from the player. Im not really keen on it either & i hope it can be turned off.

Edit: In-fact im struggling to find a video that shows input of the drivers hands as well as the game so maybe its not there, can a wmd member confirm?

It needs to be the player's choice. Wheel shake on/off option in Pcars 2 please. Problem solved.

Never noticed the 'problem', since I have the virtual wheel disabled.

The canned wheel shake is the reason why I have the virtual wheel disabled. Except for the cars that have the motec dspay on the steering wheel. For some reason the steering wheel not moving looks weird to me.

I was quite disappointed when I read about the fake wheel shake and noticed it with my G25, but IIRC it was so much less an issue with a Direct Drive wheel as I felt so much more details. Can't check it right now as my graphics card went into Nirvana, but I guess it's mainly due to settings and the capability of the wheel.

(Don't wanna sound like a fan boy though - if I'm wrong, no problem)
Improved hardware (PC) + improved hardware (FFB + pedals) + improved driving skills - limited amount of time = less to no time for livery painting
