Project Cars 2 - Supported Wheels (PS4) (Especially Question on T500rs)

    Hey,

As the release of Pcars 2 is coming closer and closer I ask myself which Wheels will be usable for Pcars2 on the PS4?
Most of us know that the "old" Fanatec-Hardware has been cut out of the PS4-Support shortly and will not be usable for upcoming PS4-Titles. The only supported Fanatec-Wheel will be the CSL Elite.

I'm a bit worried that quiet the same will happen to Thrustmaster-Hardware. On their website they show only the T80, T150, and T300 as "PS4
-licensed". The T500, which I use, is only licensed for "PC and PS3". Is there a risk that the T500 will meet the same fate as the "old" Fanatec-Hardware and will not be usable any longer?
Naturally I don't want to buy new hardware for my T500 (Shifter, Loadcell Brake Mod etc.) as far as i know that it will be usable.

And what about the Logitech-Hardware? (G27, G29 etc.)

A List with all the supported Wheels for Pcars 2 on PS4 would be perfect!

    Have a nice day

It's probably safe to assume the CSL Elite, T300RS, and G29 will be supported for the PS4 version since they all have the Playstation logo stamped on them. I could go on a tangent on how Sony would rather tell you to piss off and buy a new wheel than allow an older wheel be used with their console, and how anti-consumer it is, but whatever.

Supported Wheels Project Cars 2 (PS4)

    Thrustmaster T80 (PS4-licensed)
    Thrustmaster T150 (PS4-licensed)
    Thrustmaster T300 (PS4-licensed)
    Thrustmaster T500 (not PS4 licensed)

    Fanatec CSL Elite (PS4 licensed)
    Older Fanatec Wheels

    Logitech G27 (not PS4 licensed)
    Logitech G29 (not PS4 licensed)

Any update on that list would be brilliant!
The T500 and the Logitech Hardware was usable for Pcars 1 on PS4, allthough it wasn't licensed. Will it be usable too for Pcars 2?

The G29 is compatible with the PS4, that's why it exists in the first place.

Yeah, you're right. I looked it up. It's fully PS4 licensed.

So only the Support of the T500 and the G27 remain in Question.

I guess the T500 is the most used Wheel among PS4-Users. Would be a massive blow if it would not be usable in the game any more.

This falls in the same Category as the T500. It's "PS3 licensed".
So i guess we have to wait for a statement from SMS/Sony?

I added the T100 to the list:

    Thrustmaster T80 (PS4-licensed)
    Thrustmaster T100 (not PS4-licensed)
    Thrustmaster T150 (PS4-licensed)
    Thrustmaster T300 (PS4-licensed)
    Thrustmaster T500 (not PS4 licensed)

    Fanatec CSL Elite (PS4 licensed)
    Older Fanatec Wheels

    Logitech G27 (not PS4 licensed)
    Logitech G29 (PS4 licensed)

The T100 is not licensed, but was supported on PC1, so this will change for PC2?

There is no official list at this time, but we can assume licensed devices will be compatible (non-licensed will depend on platform approval).
