    One Armed Wheel Racers

Hi, I have an advantage in that I still have my left arm and hand, it just doesn't work very well but does provide a counterweight for balance. I am assuming you have devised a counterweight for your wheel to help with your balance but what I was wondering is if you have come up with any solutions to keep from damaging your good hand since nearly all the grip and steering forces go through it? I have tried numerous gloves but I tend to sweat too much or the slight seams bruise my hand. Right now I am using the extra large flexible band aid across my palm and a couple more up my fingers but my palm is always slightly yellowed from the deep bruising. I go through piles of band aids and I have stockpiled boxes in preparation for PCars 2

Have you looked at "work out gloves" where they don't cover your entire hand? They typically breathe better than racing gloves since they are designed for someone who is using them while doing strenuous activities..

Ok, thanks Mahjik. Do you know if a handball glove is too stiff?

I would think you'll end up with the same "sweaty" problem with handball gloves, at least with what I see online.

Cool, thanks everybody! I just picked up the Harbinger training grip lifting gloves Mahjik suggested and they are a huge improvement over the band aids and golf/driving gloves I had tried before. Now if only I could get the nano bot injection to repair the damage I have done to my hand You guys are great as always, I could almost cry. My wife doesn't understand all the pain I go through to play this game but I know some of you do, thanks.

im using these gloves since a while now and they are fantastic!
thin (0,5mm) and even in the summer nearly no sweaty hands.
(in the beginning they are really thight but got wider after a few days/weeks of use them)

Hi! The extra padding on the Harbinger gloves has really helped, I haven't appeared to cause any further damage to my hand What a name for these gloves, I set 5 new WR's with this glove. After all these runs I can take the glove off and still make a fist, so far no problem with sweat either

Hi again. I thought I might try and explain how I got into my predicament. My G25 broke last December after 10 years of service. I didn't know what to do about a new wheel because the new Logitechs had issues and the Thrustmasters as well so I ended up getting the Fanatec XBox 1/PC. The wheel rim is the contoured flat bottom Forza Motorsport which is fine for the majority of users but with my hand arm issues I ended up with my 3rd finger resting on the contour for the thumb and this put the bulge where it cuts down for the thumb right in the palm by 2nd and 3rd fingers and when I grip/use the wheel this caused the pressure to be excessive. After on and off use for months I had damaged my hand.
