    I invite you to watch this video

    It explains Project Cars 2 force feedback system and how to get the best of it. It uses the T300 as example but it will be useful for any player out there using a steering wheel.

    Regards

    Anyone used a direct drive wheel with the sim? The video suggests RAW, Gain 100, Vol 50, FX 75 and Speed Sensitivity 45, Damper Saturation 25. Is that a good starting place? Thanks!

    The video is not on the default settings. There are some good points in the video, but IDK the date of the 45 setting(found date 2/23/2017 and default settings were recommended for testing later in dev). Since, things were being adjusted for defaults! But for DD, you should be good at defaults!

    Vol 20 (T150 or Vol 18 with FX 14) / Tone 50 / FX 0 or 14 --> are all these for T150 only?

    Vol 20 / Tone 50 / FX 0, 14 or higher on T300 If running higher than 14 you will need to smooth out the ffb signal. Which, I did not like running higher in VR. I was reducing FX to get a better feel and not too much effects!

    Thanks. With what parameter/setting do you smooth out the signal? And how does FX affect VR?

    Go by feel and the graphs in game! I don't mind helping out! Just for ex: FX, I reduced it to be more comparable with RL on the road cars with minimal FX through the wheel in VR. But, it may not fit someone's personal taste. But, I was able to get a better feeling out of the tires without the added effects.

    I think some folks crank up ffb too strong and miss out on the subtleties of ffb. You want to feel what info the tires, the suspension, and the weight transfer are giving you. I'm going to start with the default ffb on my Accuforce and go from there.
