    Damper Saturation has no effect

    Hi Guys,

I have Damper Saturation set to 100%, I have exited to the main menu and then restarted the session.

In the pits the wheel is really heavy but the moment I leave the pits it becomes extremely light.

Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?

    Many thanks for any help

    Andy

Is all feedback gone then or is it becoming only weaker?

In 2nd case increase the gain value of your FFB and maybe the volume.

If the first possibility is yours then it seems to be a loss of FFB that happens to me whenever I save a setup and want to return to track. I have to disconnect the USB plug and to reconnect it to get FFB back.

    Hi,

Thanks very much for the reply.

All feedback is not gone, it is still there.

I have the feedback power turned down to 30 as otherwise it is unplayable on my Logitech G920. So I was hoping that the Damper Satuation would give me a more stiff wheel, which it does but only in the pit lane!. Otherwise it has no effect at all while on track

    Cheers

    Andy

I tend to agree , on my fanatic Porsche gt2 the damper saturation does not alter the feel when driving. Tried 0-100, no change. If by any chance it does, it is so immeasurable to notice., I would also like a heavier wheel, which I can do with volume, but adding volume seems to create a curve that strengthen the outer range only, making it feel like it has a wider dead zone. Very noticible when zig zagging or changing direction quickly.
