What's the flavour? Everything but RAW will auto scale according to what you drive.

Raw default settings will give you a lot of clipping. It's too much signal strength for the G29, so you'll lose a lot of detail. See the ffb graph (bottom left of telemetry HUD) and reduce tone and volume til you stay below the red bar.
Btw there is no "clipping noise". Clipping is when the wheel is at max load so it flat lines. Any signal above the max load of the wheel is "clipped".

Is there any fix for steering wander? With dead zone at zero, it is very difficult to stay on racing line, even on a straight road. I've tried several recommended settings but nothing so far gets rid of the dead zone/steering wander.

Hold the wheel. It's the ffb pushing on your hands, and without the resistance from your hands it goes into a feedback loop and oscillates away.

Keep the wheel pointed in the direction you want to go. The wheel pushing on your hands is the ffb telling you what the tyres are doing at the surface.

You'll have to break the habit of holding the wheel with a feather grip like you do with your real car.

    Hi all,

Been searching high and low on the forums but can't find anything about it and this seems to be the most appropriate place to ask!

I've been following the settings you guys have been suggesting on here on my G29 and they're great but I can't seem to adjust the damping? That option is set to 100% and is blacked out so I can't change it. Any ideas why? Or am. I just being a complete moron?

IT DOES NOT work the g29 is poorly coded on pc2 ps4 what ever the setting.
It is completely saturated, it goes in all directions in a straight line, it gives you shots in turn and you lose control ... if you have a g29 do not buy this game on ps4 you will be disappointed.
if you want a good realistic games on ps4 I advise you 100x Dirt 2.0 !! zero wheel setting you just have to plug g29 and the game is super realistic !!!

I just tested your setting: / nothing changes for me it's always saturated, I have a question, have you ever driven a real car ?? "Hold the wheel, it's the ffb pushing on your hands, and the resistance from your hands."
What you say here is my problem with the game is not realistic.try dirt 2.0 you will understand what I mean.
    Thank you for your answer

Are you sure you have calibrated your wheel properly?
Your description of pcars ffb is not normal.
Don't laugh, on several occasions that has proven an issue for some.

Complains about ffb wheel being "saturated"
If your modern street car wheel is as active as an ffb wheel, you need to stop driving it and tow it to a mechanic.

Anyway, back on topic: what car in pc2 are you driving? Because you do realise the ffb is not the same across the many different types of cars, right?
If you want a less "active" wheel you want the gain closer to 30-40.

I tested a lot of adjustment (including the calibration of course) and cars my problem with the ffb remains the same.
Maybe my game is badly installed?
Have you accidentally tested dirt 2.0? to get an idea of what I'm looking for
    (the best setting I find 540 / 70/65/45/05 / 0.4)
    thanks
