Took Me a while to get used to to the McClaren rim Shape, Feel, Size, Button Mapping but once i did i like it alot....any 1 that uses a Fanatec rim has to adjust because the funky switch is on the wrong side now.

How do you get your buttons to work with the fanatec rim???
Don't get me wrong I like the wheel. The shifter feel part is ok I just don't like the rocker part. I am spoiled after using the magnetic shifter paddles though. Youll never want anything else once you try those. When I order the formula wheel im getting the shifter conversions right away. Yes the smaller size took a little getting used to but especially with the McLaren it works really well. Im using custom firmware from the company that made the dd conversion so it works like any other wheel. I haven't tried using everything yet in game but I did test it with diview and everything worked and if I want I can still use fanaleds along with it.

Ive heard people talking about fanaleds but have never had the need to use it . So far all buttons and lighs haven just worked ingame . Why do you use fanaleds ? Other than the McLaren rim , what else needs it ?

I think it so the display can work because im not using it on a fanatec base. Im honestly not 100% positive yet. It did work last night when I peaked out of vr though.

Just Had a Go at FM7 on PC and I must say its pretty Nice!!!I wanted to dial in the McClaren Rim settings.
I dunno why PCars2 dont jave the option to save more than 1 controller profile....R3E, AC, FM7 i have all My Rims set up on different profiles because the Buttons Change from Rim to Rim --> XB1 Hub/ Forza Rim Button X wont be Button X on the McClaren Rim.... Its all Dumb cause all the Rims use same wheel FW.... But PCars2 should have more than 1 controller profile save.

DX12 is Really Nice!!! I wonder if the New AC is going to be DX12??? and if its DX12 and VR ready will DX12 Play better in VR???

Passing 10 cars is easy. Passing 30 is different now try multi grid Really fun with different lap times.

What’s the deal with texture resolution? I feel it looks better on high on things like signs and car decals but it seems to create shimmer in the distance where as on a lower setting I get less of that but also not as good signs etc .
