That focus on wireless VR is my concern also ! At least the new RTX cards have the Type C Port that is a VR focused cable .

This has become the Old men thread

I been testing random TV resolutions i think when i want to play on TV I'm going to use 2560 × 1440 yes its Tad a bit of a Visual down grade from 3840 × 2160 but Not sooo Much that it looks Bad... The plus side of the 1440p is that i can turn All Settings to Ultra at Long Beach at Night with Full Grids and Not 1 Stutter or FPS below 60fps!!! I Havent tried it in thunder storm yet... Even with the 1080ti 4k with Full Grids at Night when the cars bunch up in the first couple of corners i get FPS drops...Only way that i avoid it without turning settings down is to keep car grid size to 22 or less.

For me dropping the settings needed for a smooth 4k 60 would be better than the resolution drop .
I haven't driven in 4k since December last year but from memory it was only a very minor graphical adjustment to get 4k 60 ! That resolution drop would create heaps more shimmer on a big 4k screen .
Just My opinion , do what suits your needs ,

I have been running triples before (5760x1080). They were nice, way better than a single screen setup. Anyway, even coming from triples VR was a real game changer. Don´t waste your time.
    Thanks.

I don’t know if it is ok to post it here but take a look at this new VR set.. a wanna have I guess. Although I don’t think my current system can handle the all data which is needed I presume.

Im really waiting to see the New 2080ti performance reviews. So far i dont see any real info on true performance 1080ti vs 2080ti. I'm very curiouse to know if its a worth while investment.

Edit: i just found this.... If its if this is true i may get 1...the 4k #'s look good so VR should get a Nice boost... But still its just all speculation for Now until we see the real testers hands on bench mark.

A German website is talking about +35% in Firestrike here.

EDIT: They also say that this has been tested with non-optimised drivers yet.
