whats your avg. FPS in PC2? Mine is currently between 50-65 fps. I'm not sure if this ok with VR. Game is running smoothly and without any bigger drops. Could you sende me your PC2 settings maybe here as screenshot or as pm? would be fantastic. My systemspec are mentioned in my footer here :-)

EDIT: This post is complete rubbish! See post 2836.

Okay, here´s my settimgs that I used with the Reverb so far. Didn´t tinker much with it as I am back on the Rift as I have to return the Reverb for a technical issue. Please don´t take these settings too serious, by no means I am saying this is the holy grail. Maybe you use it as a starting point and then try to find some settings to your liking.

EDIT: I finally went to steam 100% resolution setting and ended up with setting the Reverb to 60Hz which is absolutely annoying on the Bandai Namco screen but quite okay once in the game.

I don't know if this has been identified before but...

I've always found PC2 to have really bad aliasing, particularly around track-side lines, in VR (Rift CV1, GTX1080) even with 16x anisotropic filtering.

I saw a post recommending to set AF in the nvidia control panel rather than in game for Assetto Corsa to improve VR image quality, I did and it resulted in a big improvement in clarity.

So I tried the same for PC2 changing the AF setting from 'application controlled' to 16x in nvidia control panel and the aliasing I was seeing is now gone.

Reviewing my post below I have to apoligise, as these are NOT the Reverb settings. I just took a few shots and posted them without double checking them. These are the ones I use with my Rift. The Reverb ones are way lower. Sorry if I was surprising/confusing anybody.

I was going to say, I have a RTX 2080Ti and my settings are nowhere close to that. Also, if you want native resolution of the Reverb on SteamVR the Video resolution need to be set at about 160% which makes the image quality superb on the Reverb.

I have video resolution set to 100% (which is nowhere near the native resolution to my surprise) as 120% is already way too high and makes the game jerking in corners with my 1080ti.

Hi this is actually not true, it works correctly with both seated och standing setup just as long as the lightning in the room is correct. I use my O+ with both settings with no issues. /Henrik

The car moves with you if you set your environment to seated/standing. Basically the headset (or probably rather WMR) assumes that your head is stationary except for rotation.

To make it work properly you have to set up environment "for all experiences" in the Mixed Reality Portal.

    Attachment 273321

The drawback is that the "all experiences" setup requires a boundary which will be annoyingly displayed, but then you can disable the boundary display in the Portal.

    Attachment 273322

You may have to keep disabling the boundary, as it keeps coming back, usually every day or so. You may also have to re-run boundary setup every now and then, when the headset cannot recognize previously learned environment. Mine almost always fails if I set up the boundary in the night and want to race during the day, or vice versa.

OK.... What I can say that several times when the headset could not find the room and reverted to seated setup, I would always have this effect. And then I tried to use it in the seated setup, not because it could find the room and reverted, but I chose seated setup, I got the effect too. When I a moved my head front/back, the environment, car cockipt, everything would move with my head. I have never experienced it with standing/all experiences setup, whatever the lightning was.
