Only had a problem like this where my setup has changed between quali and race. Make sure before the race starts you load the correct setup and i'm sure you'll find the game consistent

This is Live Track 3.0 changing conditions. It could be a big temperature difference or that cloud cover cooled the track. I had an incident at Monaco where time was sped up and I didn't know. So the shadows moved in the Casino Square section and conditions changed during 1 lap and when I hit that patch of pavement my car changed balance and spun. It's actually one of the most impressive things about the game; that actual condition changes happen and are tangible at every level for the driver.

It means you need to be thinking about conditions. When you're doing practice and quali you need to be thinking "what are conditions like now? slippery? grippy? good balance?" and you need to be thinking about how to compensate if these things change. Then on lap 1 and especially in your first braking zone you're not railing the car at the limit but you're feeling out grip levels and thinking about how you're going to be able to race based on that.

Live Track 3.0 is so detailed that I did a race at Daytona in night to day and in the morning the oval was super slippery because of dew (I think). It's done really well and if it's not something you're taking into consideration you're going to be losing out big time to the people who are.

Good point, wasn’t thinking about it at the time but yeah live track does make a huge difference. It’s what makes this game better than every other game out there. That and the cars actually feel like real cars to drive! I have had a little glitch before though even with same conditions from session to session where my setup loads incorrectly. Started a race the other day and instead of soft tyres and 30kg fuel I had hard slicks and 75kg! Car was totally different to drive!

Im having the same problem. First of all i tought it may be setup then i tought it may be the conditions so i made the conditions the same as quali, no time progression, same weather, time etc also i made sure that im loading the setup. But the car really feels diffrent without grip with sudden understeerng or oversteering. With times in qualy 1:48.xxx and in the race barelly can do 1.49.xxx and as the race progresses the situation is just getting worse. Aswell i tought it may be problem with the tires and made a 10 lap run in quali and its not the tires. So i dont think it has anything with livetrack 3.0 or setup. Might be a bug..

I wouldn't say so. I spent hours adjusting my setup with Ferrari 488 GT3 and spent hours on Monza track to make it fast, stable and to suit my driving style. My lap record on TT is 1.48.0xx. I wouldnt consider my self as a bad driver. And as i said that i do 1:48.xxx in quali, and race is whole new story. The brakes are off ( yes i checked the temperatures), tyres off (yes i checked the temperatures), balance off. And it doesnt feel at all as my setup.
