Does ANYONE have no flashing track barriers in VR?

Does anyone have no flashing track barriers in VR?

I'm running a Rift on an I5-7600K (overclocked to 4.5) and a 1080Ti Founders Edition (also moderately overclocked) and no matter what I try in settings I cannot get rid of flashing or shimmering on trackside barriers. This is especially evident on tracks like Snetterton or Watkins Glen. All drivers are up to date. All temps are fine and neither the CPU or GPU seem to be slammed.

After several hours that I've spent tweaking and re-tweaking settings I figured I'd finally ask around to see if its just me or is this common to all VR users.
Has anyone had any luck clearing them up ?

Try playing with the last setting (think its called near z) inside the VR setting page. Defaults to .4 I think.

you mean "Camera near clip plane"?? default is 0.04 I think. What does it do?

Yes. Lower clip plane value means more distant Z fighting (flashing on adverts, track signs, etc) - higher value more up close clipping (seats, head restraints, etc) Its a compromise and .4 default seems to be the happy medium (all personal tastes) with current hardware. Try bumping that setting up to help with distant objects.
