    Cayman GT4 advice?

    Really struggling with the cayman GT4... 2s off AI at 82/60aggression.

    Initially i was struggling with turn in so stiffened spring rates and lowered front ride height as race engineers recommended, however im still struggling tried increasing brake pressure and moved bias to the rear as wasn’t slowing quick enough.

    Im in career and particular struggles are the first corner and last 2 on Red Bull National.

    Im reluctant to lower the difficulty further as with it higher i have won comfortably in other cars / disciplines

    I agree that the Cayman can be a bit understeery, haven't found the answer yet but I took your option 2, just set the AI down a notch as it's a lot quicker than tweaking setups for hours. I also agree about those last two turns at RBR, they seem to have better grip. One thing I found was that if you hang back a tiny bit there and experiment with your line, you can get better exit speed than them coming onto the main straight then catch the slipstream.
    I also found you can take that first right hander faster than I original thought and get a bit of a run on them coming out of the turn. I think the AI generally show slight weakness on corner exit, but you only have a fraction of a second before they get up to speed again.

    Try messing with the differential and see where that gets you. When I was messing with the Cayman I found that adjusting settings in there really made the car handle better for me.

    Tire hot pressure at ~1.8 bar/26psi and soft slicks <90℃.

    Try braking early. Just because you make the corner at your current braking point doesn't mean it's fast.

    I believe the mid-engine Cayman belongs to those cars that are to be driven slow in - fast out. Take it easy on corner entry and see if this is any faster in the end.

    This is where i really miss the old database, the ability to compare setups and see the differences side by side.
