    Fired up Project Cars 2 for a few hours this week. Did some racing and tuning with the Ginetta G40 GT5. Patch 6.0 seems to have made this car more stable. The grass is much less slippery too. I was racing in the rain at Silverstone and trying to get a feel for differences in dry situations and wet situations. There seems to be very little difference in grip between dry and wet except for the occasional water puddle. I was kind of disappointed that there wasn't a big difference, if any between the typical dry line and a racing wet line, even though my race engineer mentioned a wet line while I was exiting pit road for qualifying.

    I did play around with tire pressures and camber and how to optimize them together, using the telemetry screens. I found the tire temperature readouts, inside, middle and outside to be very much like real life. And found that when you adjust them using real life theories, the grip level definitely improves. I continue to be impressed with the PC2 physics and the thinking behind tuning. I started a write up on how I use the telemetry tire temps to fine tune tire pressure and camber. I will have some time this weekend to do more.

    Yeah it's pretty awesome, I've actually been using tire temp gradient to setup tirea pretty well for camber and pressure adjustments. It's included in Pc2tuner.

    RE: Ford Falcon FG Setup. Hey thanks for sharing your Bathurst setup it sounds way better than what I am running and I'm keen to give it a go tonight aiming to get my lap time under 2:10. The other night I was messing with tyre and brake pressures and noticed that I could identify the locking tyre by watching the brake temperatures. So to solve the lack of a yellow circle on the locking tyre you can still identify the locking tyre as it will have a noticeable lower brake temperature than its opposite brake calliper. Thanks again :-)
