MY project cars 2 PC setup

    Hi guys

With the launch of project Cars 2 I decided to replace my PC with something a little more up to date.

Something more aimed at Racing games as that is what I have always enjoyed, now even more so.

I always strictly used a Xbox controller and only saw the light now of just how fantastic a racing wheel is.

With that said here is my component list of my Projects Cars 2 setup

    MSI pc mate B350 motherboard
    AMD RYZEN 1600x 3.9GHZ
    Gskill Trident-Z 3200MHZ DDR4 2x8GB
    Palit Gamerock GTX1070
    Corsair H60 watercooler
    Corsair VS650 PSU
    Phanteks P400S chassis

    HYPER X Cloud 2 headset
    LG 29" Ultra wide monitor

Thrustmaster T300 Integral Ferrari ALCANTARA EDITION

I'm really excited. Don't really have anyone interested here so I just had to share on here.

Post your setups below, Interested to see what everyone is running.

Thanks and have a nice weekend

    HI,
I think you will be quite well with T300 & Alcantare Wheel: I owned that gear fotr two years and they servede me well....
I suggest you to go for a slightly better pedal set than the stock T300 ones before thinking of a wheel upgrade.
For Pc hardware I have always felt better with Intel/Nvidia (off course gtx 1070 is ok in this case...., let us know how Ryzen performs....)

    Best regards

I only can say about T300 with Ferrari Alcantara rim...its really good. Pedals are nothing special from Thrustmaster I changed to Fanatec CSL LC very fast.

PC looks ok, hard to say because im playing on laptop with UW monitor and thats is good choice but still not enough, so tommorow my CV1 is coming

    With I could post photos.

It comes with the T3PA pedals. Which feels absolutely brilliant.

Now I need to figure out what FFB setting is best for this wheel.

Congrats on moving to racing wheel. You may want to use gloves otherwise that lovely alcantara will be ruined quite soon (if you race a lot).

    Thanks for the quick replies.

After days of benchmarking, oc'ing, testing the Ryzen platform performs extremely well.

So glad the package came with the T3PA pedals and rim as standard.

Anyone maybe have some tips for the seetings in PC2 regards FFB?

You cant go wrong with Jack Spades files- just do a search using the search function on this forum. As regards particular settings, I use about 20 for tone, that gives really good slip effect, fsx dialed down as well. All else to taste.
