Hi guys, does anyone have a more stable setup for the Toyota 86?
I got some league races tomorrow night on Sakitto and Fuji.

Hi V3nom, nothing for the GT 86 at Fuji http://cars2-stats-steam.wmdportal.c...cle=4059215692. There is a 1:52.032 run with the Rocket Bunny version.
Nothing for the GT-86 at Sakitto http://cars2-stats-steam.wmdportal.c...cle=4059215692. just a Default run with the Rocket Bunny version http://cars2-stats-steam.wmdportal.c...cle=1764851930 .

Do you see anything you would like me to post for you?
    Bikes wrecked-77 Suzuki RM125, 78 Honda Elsinore 250, 81 Honda CB900F, 2000 Kawsaki ZX12R(2), 2001 Honda F4I, 2005 Yamaha R1. A bike hasn't been made I couldn't wreck, spectacularly, but I'm retired now.

I'm gonna have to check the stats of the normal road car and the rocket bunny version. From my memory the rocket bunny is much more stable so I don't think the setups will translate well on the standard 86.
My problem is that the car goes sideways in almost every corner if I go to fast in a corner. Don't get me wrong it's fun and really easy to control this one but I don't think it getting me the right pace.
I would appreciate some tips of were to start in order to make the car less drifty.
I am a noob on setups(actually on racing too), so the only things I play with are the tire pressure, engine breaking and gear ratios.
I'll give the car some thorough practice tomorrow and also compare it to the rocket bunny.
Anyway, thanks for your help mate, any tips are welcome!

Hi V3nom, sorry about the lack of setups. Let's take Sakitto GP, when I compare the Default Stable(which is the base setup for consoles) to the 1 tuned run the person is using the same LSD and the ramps are at 90 which is off so it doesn't look like anything is to be gained in the LSD. The run uses a higher front camber and the same rear camber as Default so let's try increasing the rear camber to see if we can reduce the sliding.

If this helps let's try reducing the rear slow bump as well.

Hi, you know, I think I have the wrong car, sorry. The LSD everyone is using is at 45/45. The 90/90 is for the street RB. So, if you are having issues with the GT-86 spinning you can try increasing the power ramp to 65 to see if this helps. I also checked and found a car that had front camber reduced to -1.0 but lets stick with the -2.0. Disregard the damper changes for now and work on the camber and LSD. Sorry.

Hey blink, first of all thanks for the tips. I really appreciate it man!
So, I changed the camber to -2.0 on the rear and increased the power ramp to 65 and it worked wonders.
The care is less drifty and a pleasure to drive now.
I got 2 remaining questions though.
1.Is there a way to reduce wheel lock up on braking? I think it is the front that is locking up(Car does not steer). Keep in mind that you can't change the break bias on this car.
2.Am I right when I say that it makes no point in playing with the gear ratios on this car? Every slight change I tried fucked up the gears massively.

Hey V3nom, before I do any more damage I just want to know if I am using the same car as you.

On PC Brake Bias is adjustable.

Yes blink it's the same car.
And yeah you are right you can change the bias, I was irritated because you can't change it in the ICM menu.
I changed the bias to 52/48 and it feels better.

Cool. Ok, on PC the best time for this car before the Patch is 2:16.936 at Sakitto, what kind of times are you able to run?
Also, I wouldn't mess with the gearing.
