    Indycar Ovals Undriveable

Firstly thank you guys for patch 3. This game is awesome and has the best career mode i have seen in a racing game.
This said sadly Indycar Oval racing is still unplayable in the latest patch it would seem.

I will admit I only had a short time to test in my career mode but it seems once you get to about 40mph or so the car pulls to the left so violently it is impossible to drive. I really hoped this would be fixed in patch 3....hopefully it will in patch 4

Check the tune, I noticed Indy car for oval track has a weight ballast pulling it to the left for oval tracks

A pull to the left, sure. But between an Indycar race and taking an Indycar in practice you can notice a significant difference in the car handling that makes it undrivable. If it were a problem with the tune then I wouldn't be able to control the car in either mode.

I suspect this is a platform specific issue to the regular Xbox One also.

I don't touch setups at all. The car is completely default both in practice and race.

This "violent pull" to the left, is it happening on cold tires, coming out of the pits ? If so, the car is fine, you just have to tip-toe your way around the track until the temps are good (200 on the display, it's Fahrenheit).
Drive slowly, keep in 3rd gear, until you have temp. Then, drive around and see if it's still undriveable. On warm tires, the car should behave normally, meaning stable at high speed, with a bias toward the left, which at this point becomes your friend rather than your worst nightmare.

The handling is of course different from practice to race because SMS went over the top with AI number, too many for it's own good. with 31 opponent every time you steer, the car overreacts and you have to catch it, and on an oval that's not happening, the only "catching" going on will be the wall, with your wreckage.

Just had a go on custom race daytona and with full AI my practice was ok but qualifying was undriveable with my g920. Shaking violently to where i had to quit game. Lowered grid size to 20 and tried again and everything was fine and ive got a xbox 1x. Not sure about other tracks but i had a standing start no rolling start even though you cant select standing which didnt happen before. The tyre rotation is sorted in bonnet cam though, the wheels dont look stationary anymore at 240mph as they did before.

Hilariously, the car is easier to drive on cold tyres out of the pits in practice than it is pre-heated in a race.

Just had another go and WTF everything working fine no wobble and a rolling start even with full grid. I have no idea....

Weird. I'll give it a go, see if I encounter the same issue.
