In car management - driving aids

i believe this is the best place to post this. A group of friends do a weekly time trial, and have found that most times everyone has different driving aids. for example some have reported they can change TC, ABS and SC on and off etc while in car with the realistic driving aid setting on, however some who have it on full are unable to change it as it is locked. the main car in question at the moment is the mercedes amg a45 touring car.
Is this a bug or is it suppose to be like this?

It's a known bug, driving assists carrying over from the previous car your drove. Will be fixed in the next patch.
