Forza 7 - Thrustmaster TX setting suggestions ?

I'm on the One X with FM7, not the PC (I'm not sure that really makes a massive difference) and I wondered if anyone has some settings I could try out.
It's nowhere near as good as PC2 but it's still fun to play!

Once I get home I'll post up the settings I'm using.

Hi ! Try TheBlue028 settings first, then tune it as you'd like. So far, FFB has been pretty decent on FM7, apart from no road texture feedback.

Well not bad, but the tire modeling is the main issue for me atm. It's why, it needs a rewind feature. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threa...pdated.359010/

Why didn't I listen to you first Nyreen - haha.
I watched his explanation video yesterday, and suddenly it made soo much more sense !

I like that the wheel rotation can be adjusted in the menu, so it's easier to find something that works and for me at the moment it's like this:

    (normal steering, not 'simulation')

So now I can control the car largely as I want it to.
Transitioning from messing around drifty to drive properly is quite fluid. I wonder if I can get anywhere close to that in PC2 ? (which once again is more about finding the settings I'm sure)

I know I'm using Jack Spade's setting with my T500RS, which is now very close to the raw setting (downside of Spade's tune, the car steers 3% right). Unfortunately, drifting is a very special feature made really easy and accessible in Forza, in the opposite you'll find PC2. Catching a slide and not spinning is satisfying enough...

I think I've tweaked it some more since then (as you do).

Shortly after I posted that, I managed to get a very nice couple of settings for PC2, and had my 'Ah ha' moment with the Tone setting. So yep, not with every car of course but now catching them is certainly easier and in some cases I can ride out my oversteer mistakes.
Now FM7 feels horribly understeery and lacking a lot of FFB detail.

I've just come from FM7 to PC2 because it just felt like a waste of a wheel setup. As a controller game it's great but the wheel feels numb compared to this and other games.

Well, I have played a little bit more lately. Forza 7 is ok, now with my T300. It took a while with the simulation steering as normal was originally the only way to catch the car, but I found the root cause of the rear end snapping out. The main issues at moment: it just needs more vibration through the steering wheel (not R3E, stock settings overly excessive), more tire feeling and less suspension, and a feeling of being more connected to the track(which probably mostly goes back to the tires).

There is one issue, that I may have found when changing the game volume on my keyboard the T300 drops all input for about 1-2 seconds and maybe the same issue is causing the volume to randomly starting increasing driving around a track. Which this might not be a game specific issue, but could be a conflicting port issue on my pc. Since, I noticed that I have to unplug my Fanatec handbrake to use my pdp Legendary xbox1 controller with Assassin's Creed Origins.

For me the FFB in Forza 7 with my Thrustmaster TX leather edition is just horrible, I tryd everything, every setting but the FFB feel extremely muted, all I can feel abit is the steering getting bit heavyer when rounding corners fast, and lighter when loosing grip. I hardly feel rumblestrips, gearchanges or any vibrations, extremely frustrating. I play on xbox, by the way. If anybody knows a solution, I appriciate it massively!

You can try, but you might need to adjust the gain in the TMCP or the in game force. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threa...#post-12201436 Edit: Unfortunately, Forza just lacks about 3 things(just to get it handling better) and the AI is just horrible (way worse than this title!)

Edit: 2 you can try upping vibration around 17 and FFU 21/22.
