The demo of the current version doesn't work with PCars 2.
The full version doesn't support the following tracks with PCars 2:

    • Barcelona-Catalunya National
    • Bathurst
    • Brno
    • Cadwell GP
    • Hockenheim Classic GP
    • Hockenheimring GP
    • Le Mans 24h

    • Monza GP
    • Nordschleife
    • Oschersleben GP
    • Silverstone National
    • Silverstone International
    • Spa GP
    • Watkins Glen Short

In a few day I will publish an update that these tracks are supported in PCars 2 too.

The demo and the full version now also works with Project Cars 2 (PCars1 mode). Please let me know if there are some remaining issues.

Hi, I have a POCK license and I'll try it more in the upcoming weeks (I need all the help I can get ) Looks really promising, great job!

    Question about available laps/ghost etc:
I noticed at least on Monza GP, that RUF RGT-8 GT3 was listed as available lap/ghost. Since this car isn't in PC2, I assume this lap/ghost is from PC1? But my guess would be that so much has changed, that a ghost from PC1 won't be much help in PC2?

Am I missing something? Is there a way to just get laps/ghosts from PC2?

PC2 is on Xbox1, POCK Race trainer 3.1.2 on Win 10 machine .
(Accidentally posted this in PC1 thread before)

Currently all provided trainer laps in Race Trainer come from PC1.

Whether a trainer lap of PC1 hepls in PC2 is a good question. Maybe the race line or the braking points can be helpful. Race Trainer works in PC2 only with the compatibility mode (PCars1 mode), so I can not decide if a trainer lap was created with PC2 or with PC1.

The only exception: The trainer lap was created on a new track or with a new car.

In the attached zip file Trainer_Laps_PC2.zip you will find some trainer laps that were created with PC2.
It would be great if other users would upload their laps created with PC2. The laps are stored in the subfolder <TrackData\RaceLine>.

In Time Trial or Community Events you can choose a ghost. With the option <AI-Ghost-MP> the chosen ghost from PC2 is displayed in the Race Trainer. However, there is the disadvantage that only the race line is displayed, since no further telemetry date are provided for the ghost. I don't know if PCars2 mode will provide an improvement.

Hello, I've just discovered this log and would like to be able to use it. Unfortunately, I discover that the demo was valid until March 01st and I don't know how to buy a license.

That depends on the possibilities that are offered by PCars2 api. For a long time I hoped that the pcars2 structure would be extended by important telemetry data of the other participants (brakes, throttle, gears, ...). Unfortunately, this is not the case so far ...

Anyway, with pcars1 compatibility mode, my app works for PCars2 as well.

I agree, for the Race Trainer itself it makes no sense if there is no benefit.

But now the BUT: The Race Trainer is an analyzing tool and I think I am not the only one who uses Dashboard apps in parallel, for example RS Dash and SIM Dashboard.
I use both in pcars2 Shared Memory mode. I think they also support the pcars1 mode, but then I loose information like the tire pressures for example, because they are only available in pcars2 mode.
And you can only run one mode at the same time. In result I cannot use Race Trainer and a Dashboard app at the same time without loosing information.

If I have the license I will test if it maybe works in pcars2 mode, too.
The variables from the pcars1 Shared Memory API are included in the pcars2 API, only additional variables have been added to the struct.

Good point, I'll look at this.
Today I'll deploy a new version of Race Trainer, which includes only pcars1 API support.
