I really love the FF in Assetto Corsa. The mix between g forces, feeling the car weight, feeling the road surface is excellent, I think. The only effect is less intense is tire slip. GT Sportßs effect with the skidding and rubbing tires is very nice there, I think.
I tried to make PC2 FF like Assetto, but not much luck. the surface efect /curbs, rumble from surface or on grass is very low and canīt change it to much better. The G forces are very strong (too strong for my taste and barely feel surface details ) and the steering wheel feels "empty" and too light. Alsost like on a wheel without FFB. If I tone that up (also with dampener saturation) it gets better. But the other effects like surface detail gets less and the g forces wipping your arm off. Maybe itīs my settings but no matter what seetings I try, itīs always not 100% right. AC FF is great out of the box.
I think the biggest problem is the light and "empty" feeling in the wheel. Other games make the wheel feel lighter the more corbnering or more faster corvering you are to make the car feel heavier and faster. In PC2 I dobīt feel that at all.

What tire compound were you using?
    What was your tire pressure?
What was the track and tire temperatures?

There does not need to be a solution but an acceptance that the field of complex non algorithmic ffb is a new and evolving area and different creative minds will create different presentations of the forces involved.

A ffb wheel is often producing a more detailed feedback than a car irl to replace the myriad of other forces and vibrations you feel in a real car with your body and vestibular system, g forces.

    Good luck with that
Anyway, it seems that PC gamers by using the custom configuration by JS are getting a more reasonable feeling.
    We,consolers,cannot use the custom config.

I’ve read that with the latest patch the immersive setup uses JS settings, that’s what I’m using right now and I like it a lot.

Yes it is clear that many avoid reasoned debate and are perhaps letting their enthusiasms blind them.

Absolutely not, i think the custom configuration by JS is very far from a good ffb. I prefer the raw settings and i think i'm not the only one.

Spades work is famous since the pc1 days. Not surprised they’re highly recommended.
I tried them in pc1 but just not for me. I’m on raw too.
