But several reports on the forum here say that XB1X only makes it look better and load faster. Not much improvement in net code lag or FFB issues.
This is rubbish. The ffb detail is very much improved on the xbx, more detail, as you might expect given the improvements in other areas.
The ffb feels similar but with much improved high frequency detail in particular.

I cannot comment on online as I am still not playing online.

Agreed, XBX will load faster, look better, have more FFB detail, and possibly other improvements.

But the original post was regarding the violent shaking, grinding, jolting that we have experienced "on line" with more than 10 or 12 cars on track. This is the net code issue that they are working on. One way to minimize the undesirable effect is to lower volume and FX until it is at a usable point, and just race on line with 10 or less cars and wait until they fix it.

I personally don't like the feel with it lowered until the jolting is gone, and having other issues like dropping out at anytime, or waiting long periods just to get a lobby going is less than enjoyable for me.

The XBX is better in many ways, but the net code issue is real.

^^^ Sorry, I misunderstood that you were referring to online not offline.

No problem, yeah, off line is great. Practice, Custom Race, TT... all fun. Still waiting on the fix for Career so I can experience that too. Career bug will probably take the longest of all because of the random nature of it. One of the leagues I was in pretty much can't do more than 8 on line reliably, so it ends up being who shows up first and can get in the lobby. Not exactly a situation that makes me even want to go there.

Ok so I have updated the drivers on the wheel and I'm still having the same issue and the car truly does feel like it's on ice when the only variable changed is the amount of cars on track I have noticed y'all talk about the difference between offline and online for me the game does this in both no matter the circumstances with 10 or more cars on track the game bugs out

Please post all your config settings and your FFB settings. There has to be something in there that is causing the issue. but we can't determine it without the details.

If youre on an og xbox it will happen on or offline. Sooo many threads about old xbox performance with larger grids. Performance optimizations confirmed coming in next patch which should be fairly soon.

This is not the case. Something is wrong elsewhere, I worry you may have other issues.
If you cannot race 10 cars under any circumstances as you put it with out the game feeling as if the "cars are on ice" and the game "bugs out", then you may need to look elsewhere.

I dont know if it is possible to avoid the patches but make sure you have the latest version number, I suggest posting that to check.

When I was playing on the old xbox I would have said the same thing. In fact I did. The physics on some cars is completely out of wack with larger grids. I doubt he has any other issue besides an older xbox.
