    Lamborghini Super Trofeo

    Track: Silverstone GP
    Date: 19th October 10:00
    Temperature: Air -10C Road 12C
    Weather: Cloudy
    Tyres: Soft
    Fuel: 20L

    Car setup: Default Stable

I'm almost give up. I know theoretical part of tuning, but no matter what I do to this car it doesn't help. Lambo always slides and oversteer. I tried to make springs and anti-roll bars softer - no result. I tried to do smth with differential no result. I don't feel any difference after changes with this car! And it's not only at Silverstone.

Looking for your advice cause I don't know what to do with it. It's one of the unpleasant car to drive in Project Cars 2.

Hi Lakiboom, you are not the only one who has mentioned this recently. I was able to match my time with this car and the Huracan GT3 and what I found was I had to change my braking points with it, I needed to start braking much earlier and also easy on the gas, it has the same weight but over 100 more horsepower than the GT3. I couldn't find anyone running the soft tires at Silverstone in TT. Here is reis setup, he is pretty good with this car at various tracks. Maybe you can get some ideas from his setup. It's 4.588 horsepower per pound versus 5.735 for the GT3 so smoother and easier is necessary.

Hi, try my base setup. It is not optimal for Silverstone but i think its much better than stock. Good with slow speed corners and traction so you need to plan the high speed corners with that in mind. Its best @ hot tracks with hard tires but also works in the rain. It doesnt work with soft tires, never got that car to do that...
Hard slick: Front 1.44, Rear 1.38
Brake balance: 49/51 (ducts after weather)
    Rear downforce: 6
    Camber: -2.8,-3.0
    Ride height: 79, 90
    Spring: 140, 150
    Toe: 0,0.3
    Antiroll: 40,30
    Bumpstop: 30
    Slow bump: 12000, 12500
    Slow rebound: 17000, 25000
    Bump transition: 645, 1435
    Rebound transition: -1120, -2155
    Clutch LSD: 80Nm, 4, 60deg, 20deg

Thank you, I will try! I've completed career Trofeo championship yesterday, and I've got thoughts that there are bugs with LiveTrack 3.0. Why? So it was very unpleasant to drive this car at Silverstone, Watkins Glen and etc. I didn't push on gas pedal at turns, braked carefully and so on. But the car often slides at slow turns 70km/h with warm tyres! But. Last track was Fuji GP and do you know what? There was like different car, fast and had a lot of grip on the same setup!!! Honestly I was shocked. How it can be?! I absolutely don't have an answer. I also noticed that this Lambo more stable on tyres for rain.

So I don't know what is the problem, bug with tyres for this car or Live Track. But as I said on Fuji it was incredible to drive with soft. Will be cool if devs check this car and Trofeo career, cause I think there is smth wrong. I don't believe that modern sport car slides like on ice at dry track with warmed tyres.

I'm currently running the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series in career. I found a solution that seems to work well... change the rear camber angle to -0.7 instead of -3.0
It just didn't seem right to have more negative camber on the drive wheels then on the front... and from my Forza7 days none of the GT3 cars ever ran more then -0.7 camber on the rear tires. Heck, I was able to push the fronts to -3.2, but when it was an all-wheel drive car that came back to about -1.5 max. No, -3.0 camber on the rears is WAY TOO MUCH! I'm pretty new at this gig, and this was my 1st attempt at tuning - but this one change made a world of difference in the handling of the car. the over-steer issues coming out of the corners being resolved - the car is fun to drive in career mode (seems to drive ok in free play with -3.0 camber on the rears - no idea why though).

You have to use correct tire compound for the conditions.
Different tracks will have different braking demands, producing different brake temperatures. Brake temperature directly affect tire pressure.

What we're your tire pressures and brake temperature at Silverstone and Watkins?

I didn't change tyres pressure, I believe in race it was around 1,83 as usual. Silverstone and Watkins road was lower than 30C. The easiest way to understand guys is to try this championship with this car in career by yourself.

Is there a soft compound option for the trofeo?

Either way, you didn't change your tire pressures which has a great impact on handling and grip.
Track temperature, weather, track type, brake temperature all affects tire pressure. If you don't tune your pressures and brake ducts, your car will behave good in some tracks and terrible in others.

You can't expect a race car and race tires to perform perfectly fine with the same setup at summer COTA and winter red bull ring.

    I understand that my friend.
But as I said try pls it by your self. So we will have not only words but real experience. If you're good at setups and there is no bug/problem with Lambo or LiveTrack then you can show the result And others will have a good example
