I give up, I do not do more tests, the noise comes from the game, it has nothing to do with windows, nor hardware, it is a frequency that I calculate of the cut of rpm, which is more pronounced in some speakers, and is more noticeable with any headset.

We found a potential sideeffect of the VR flicker fix where the audio listener (camera) may get incorrect / stuttery positions and can cause minor pops in the audio (or major, depending on your config).

Paul is currently doing some tests, we'll see where we get with it.

I installed this and it made no difference. The low frame rates have rendered this game unplayable for me. Such a shame as I was astounded at how lovely it was to play with 1.3, is there a way to roll back in the mean time?

See prior posting #62! I have not been getting on my end. I have spent about about 3 hours trying different things!

Does it apply to non-VR game instances? I'm sure sound glitches are appearing not only in VR-game

For me the issue sounds slightly different. The above video could almost be traction control or rev limiter, I say almost.

To me it sounds exactly like poorly compressed mp3. I recognise the sound from my djing days.
