I think a lot will depend on the price for me. Ten tracks and a dozen or so cars doesn't feel like a full title to me these days. It worked ok for GPL back in 1998, but seems more akin to a DLC pack compared to what else is out there. Also, with early access you would expect a lower price anyway, so if it feels like good value for money it's a yes, otherwise just a maybe. It will have to bring something different and worthwhile for sure otherwise why bother.

If it were just ten tracks and one class, I might agree. But it's more like an R3E experience pack, or a GT3 version of Codie's F1, just with better physics simulation. Besides, considering what's spent on hardware these days, $30-$60 for an upgraded class wouldn't be bad at all.

I do hope they work on the sounds, though. I love the sound in AC, but I often forget that I'm running the Fornsecker mods, and that the native sounds was a little meh for some cars. It would be nice to have R3E level sounds in ACC, especially since mods may not be available for this.

10 x 12, that's 120 combinations you can master. Add day, night, dry, wet weather and you can keep yourself busy for a long time.

But they're still 'just' GT3 cars. I like to have strawberry or mint-choc-chip ice cream every so often, rather than plain old vanilla. That vanilla can be the nicest vanilla in the world but it's still vanilla, a flavour I've tasted a million times before.

Silly food-based analogies aside, I'm sure it will still be a popular title as GT3 is a very popular form of sim-racing at the moment. And as Haiden has rightly pointed out, there's absolutely nothing wrong with playing different sims if one thing does something better than another. It matters not how or where you get your enjoyment, only that you get enjoyment out of a game

Perhaps I will buy it but as I always come back to Pcars I think with ACC it will be no difference. Pcars feels the best to me and if SMS can keep up this standard it will stay the best. Although it is nice to be able to switch from time to time.

Yeah, I just mean so long as they are realistic with the pricing I'll certainly buy it, I've bought every decent racing title since 1996 so I'm not going to stop now. I just can't help comparing 10x12 to 180x70 (or whatever we are at in PC2) so maybe we've been spoiled by PC2. I'm not expecting it for 5.99, but equally a full 40 price tag looks a bit cheeky to me. They released AC on PS4 at a reduced price and I thought that was a fair move, as it's just not that polished compared to a full AAA title.
