As for Bathurst, I've done more laps and kms there than any track in ACC, lol I've had ACC since EA release and already done more around the mountain in the little time that DLC released
I gave it a go last night. Coming from driving the Ferrari pretty much exclusively for a couple months, the Porsche was definitely a challenge to take around quick. Didn't park in a wall, though, so that's saying something. I used to drive the 2019 GT3 Porsche exclusively, before the 2019 update, so I know how twitchy the backend can be under heavy braking. I used to drive Bathurst in RRE with the 2016 DTM cars. It's always been a blast. But the experience in ACC is just over the top, way better than other sim I've driven that track in.

The 911 GT3 Cup race car races in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, which is a one-make racing series. That's why races against other Porsche Cup cars are so good It's meant to race against other identical cars. It's slower than FIA homologated GT3s because it has a bit less HP and less aero. No ABS, no TCS.

    - I also put temporal upsampling to enabled (help text suggests to do this when resolution scale is less than 100%)
    - view distance: high.
    - shadows:low (Iíve been increasing this lately though... trying to reduce that floating car look that sometimes happens)
    - texture: high
    - mirrors: distance 180m, quality mid, resolution mid
    - opponents visibility: 20
    - materials quality: mid
    - materials quality: mid
    - bloom, volumetric fog, and folliage lod quality all to low.
    - car lod quality I set to 100%
    - HLOD I have disabled
    - Advanced sharpen filter: enabled
    - I have motion blur enabled.

    - Antialiasing I use Temporal, Epic. But I also found that adjusting the image contrast/saturation/gain can help this a lot. The defaults really result in bold colours and personally I don't like that. Seems a bit fake and personally I think it compounds the noticeability of any aliasing issues. I set Saturation to 80, Image Contrast to 0.55, and Exposure Gain to 0.25. This just tones things down and seems much more realistic looking to me. I don't think it helps the sharpness of items in the distance, but I do think it just reduces the obviousness of it. I also find it much more playable at night or low light races. Things just seem more natural to me.
I have slightly higher settings. Although not as crisp as could be achieved with a singles screen. I'm very happy with my triple setup. I looks really cool now.
    Thanks for your directions.
I've added my setup file. You can save this in a *.jon file and load it and see if it fits you as well.

I actually didn't realize how easy it was to copy/paste different settings files. Figured it out. Man that makes it really easy to compare them and what's different.

I tried yours. Have to say, it was difficult for me to spot much difference (I'm not the best at that sort of thing....). I was getting slightly lower fps, but really marginal. Will experiment a bit more with the differences in your settings one-by-one. Maybe something there to discover. Thanks.

Curious though..... why do you limit fps to 59? Aren't your monitors 75Hz? I think you can squeeze a bit more fps still. Personally I find a world of difference from 60-80fps. Above 80, if I'm honest, I don't really notice a big difference. But 60 to 80 is really noticeable for me.

My screens are 60hz screens. I know, not optimal but as said before, I had 1 1440p screen and at the time it was cheaper to buy 2 new 1440p screens instead of 3 1080p. The panels are beter suited for DTP to be honest. I have to deal with those.

I get a steady 60fps with my settings, it is not that different from your settings indeed.

Okay, I installed ACC today and it is a major PITA to run with VR. I need a keyboard, a mouse, and something flat to run the mouse on since it won't work on my carpet. The menu screen starts in the sky, I start under the drivers seat when I want to drive, I can't recenter my view until after the car starts moving.....

What am I missing here. I thought PC2 was supposed to be the buggy sim?

I also hope I'm missing something on the visual-tweaking side because this is what it looks like with the default VR high setting vs PC2 in VR:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea_b...ature=youtu.be

I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that I'm in VR, but I don't understand the hype now that I'm actually trying to use it. The more I interact with it, the more I dislike it
