Sounds like a lot of marketing fluff, but progress is progress and the price doesn't seem too steep compared to the G920 so I am certainly intrigued

It looks very much like my G29 with added black bits. I think it will be interesting to see what the new FFB effects bring over and above the FFB already in a game, and how many titles (especially older ones) might support it.

As I've said in other forums, its typical Logitech. They make small improvements to the previous model, just as they did with the G27 and G29.

The fact that they've not gone for "G31" but G923 perhaps acknowledges that the changes here are modest. I have a G29 and they've made exactly the changes I would have made. The all-black finish looks more up-market. Putting the G29s buttons on the XBox version is a good move. The brake pedal is now more progressive. While it does the job, the G29s FFB is its weakest point compared to more expensive wheels, so its good they've worked on this area. How effective it actually is I'm a little skeptical about, but it does seem to play to the wheels strengths. The geared drive is generally good at high frequency FFB because its so direct. Belt drives add an element of springiness and damping.

The other thing they always do since the G27 is introduce the wheel at a stupidly high price. It didn't take too long for the G27 and G29 to come down to a more realistic price point, and hopefully this will be the case again.

So while its not going to set the world of sim racing wheels alight, and we live in a world of planned obsolesce, I admire that Logitech make wheels that last a long time (my G25 was in use for 10 years and never broke once) and while they improve them you never feel like you must rush out and get the latest model because yours is now obsolete.

I've had a G25, G27 and currently G29 and I've been very happy with all of them, I agree.

I like the look of the new TrueForce feature and the review of it sounded promising, where the reviewing did back to back comparison of the G29 and the G923 and felt like there was something missing with the G29 feedback after using the G923. Will be cool to see this working with PC3

It's just a repackaged G29, which was a repackaged G27 which was a downgrade from the G25 it was replacing.
