It is a what GPU demanding game indeed. A bit hotter but not exceptionally.

    Road Effects 25%
    Frequency 333Hz
    Steering Lock 1080
    Linearity 1.00
    Brake Gamma 1.00
    Gear Shift Debouncing 50ms

    DD2, Xbox 1 Hub w/Forza Rim... DD1 + FFB to taste.
    Sen Aut
FF 30 or 35 <-- very Car, Track, Mood Dependent... I don't always Need or want super strong FFB... These settings Provide Consistent Nm between 5 and 8 depending on Curve but limits Max Nm between 10 to 12.
    SHo 100
    ABS Off
    For 100
    SPr 100
    dPr 100
    For 100
    ndP 50
    nFr 005
brF Lo... (I like Full Brake Pedal Travel)
    FEI 100

I use the On wheel FFB to get the at wheel FFB strength that I Feel to use.

Edit: Take Note the FFB Line on the Wheel Display is used to Measure wheel power output Only... Ex if you use On wheel 50% the on wheel FFB Graph Line will only move to 50% of the Box and then Flatten out...it Only Shows the FFB power Level out put at the wheel According to where you have it set. 30% , 50%, 100% etc.

ACC FFB seems to be Nicely Balanced and looking at the In Game FFB meter I don't see it go into the Red for more than a Fraction of a Second and that is over the Biggest Curb and I Feel No Clipping.

Edit: 2019 cars and Tracks I find I Need Higher FFB... The 2019 Porsche feels best when I run on wheel FFB at 35 but even better at 45 but again it depends on Time Of Day and My Mood... Late in the day as I'm winding down or after a Long Racing Session the Strong FFB is just Not Needed.

It's probably throttling the GPU at that point. You might want to look into trying some custom fan curves if your GPU supports it.
I know my EVGA 2080 isn't aggressive enough by nature and doesn't ramp up fully to keep temps, instead it seems they went for a lower noise floor instead.

Same for the ASUS cards. If I remember correctly the default curve only goes to 70%. It helps bumping the whole curve so the fans aren't trying to play catch up when it does start to get warm too.

Isn't there a Auto Fan tweek setting in MSI Afterburner? When I Switched from 1080ti and went to the 2080ti It was getting hot.... I used a Auto Fan tweek setting I forget where its at but the Heat issue went away...

I know cooler is better but 70c is still supposed to be a safe temp...isn't it?

Case Size makes a Difference also I have a Full Size tower... Once I dumped the 1070Sli My case is Just alotta open space.... 24 cars High and Epic settings I get 64c... Room Temp is ~72. <-- Winter is setting in

The GPU is not throttling down. I believe the throttle point for 2080 cards is around 84, so 70 is fine.

ACC just runs it slightly higher. With a custom curve mine does stay at or under 70 in ACC. For some reason the default fan curve didn't go past 80-85%. Can't remember exactly, but I remember being surprised by where it was set. I run 26 car grids at High/Epic with no frame or cooling issues.

I have mine undervolted and custom fan curve and in every game it's 64c or under (summee/winter doesn't matter never goes over 64c) except for ACC where it is 69c and bangs on 70c then back to 69c.

I mean I get ACC is hard to run but even RDR2 which is even harder to run my card doesn't even hit 60c!

It just confused me as to why ACC makes my card hotter than Any other game.
Like seriously my card never goes past 64c even if I had it running a benchmark for hours but ACC for 10 minutes and it's trying to push to 70c.
6 hours of RDR2 last night and it averaged 53c and maxed 61c and it was 32c (starting to get yummy) here yesterday.
