What do you mean by decent? Racing or TT? The TT WR on the Tri Oval is 0:46.281(sms austino with Patch 4.0) on PC. What is it on PS4?
I can give you the setup for the TT WR but don't expect to be able to match the time with just using the setup. I can run my setup reproducibly but I can't run anyone else very well. If I just try and run the WR setup I am going to be slower by a few tenths plus because I don't have the same FFB settings etc..
This is my old setup from 11/19/17 which I ran a few minutes ago, very close to the same even though there have been 2 patches since I made the run.

I tweaked the bump stops a little and made this run, you have to do a lot of fiddling to improve the time with the Fusion at the Tri Oval.

Here is the link to the WMD portal, if you see a setup you want to try let me know and I can get it for you.

Ok, here is the PC TT world record setup. Give it a run but before you start changing too many things go to the damper page and increase the right side bump stops to 50 front and rear.

Since you are new you need to decide if you are more comfortable using the SMS setups, Stable and Loose. Next, it is almost always your tires. You have to know which compound to select based on the track conditions. It is very difficult but you need to run many laps to get your tire compound and pressures correct. Then, since you say you are new, is to probably look at your brake pressure, too high and you give yourself problems locking up the brakes. You will also have to look at the Brake Balance, if you are new it might be easier to get used to the braking by moving the balance forward a little until you learn the car track combination you are running. These are the things you could try to master a little before you start changing too many things and get yourself frustrated. Always feel free to come here and ask for help, none of us know everything but sometimes when we work together we can help you with a problem.

Ok, here is the WMD Portal which links to Time Trial on PC. You can use this to compare your times at a certain Car/Track combination. http://cars2-stats-steam.wmdportal.c...1491257&page=2

I am going to guess and say you are probably having difficulty knowing which line to take through the corners since you don't have a faster ghost you can follow. You can't run through the corners wide and make good time, I suspect this why you are off your goal of low to mid 46's. You need to push as close to the yellow line as possible with the left front. Even if you nick the edge of the apron a tiny bit it is only going to cost you a few hundreths versus multiple tenths by running too wide.

Hi, I don't know what your interest is in the Ford Fusion. There are 3 additional Oval tracks you can check out with this car. Texas is the most difficult, turn 1 is particularly challenging and if you abuse your tires on your out lap you won't have much right front tire left for your fast lap. With a worn front tire you can make turn 3 ok but turn 4 will find you fighting to keep it off the wall. Indy is the next most difficult(I have personally not run this track with the Fusion but I have with other cars), again the tires are marginal. The Historic Monza Oval is odd, it is the only clockwise oval in the group. For this track you are better off with a symmetrical setup. There are decent setups for the Fusion at all these tracks if/when you are interested.

I am currently only adjusting the bump stops. I have the left front and rear at 13 now and the right front and rear at 60. I improved to a 46.360. I previously had problems with sms austino's setup which is why I don't use it, some people can drive it successfully. With setup sharing most of the top times are using very similar settings. From my November settings your setup(sms austino's) has a slight tire pressure difference and longitudinal weight bias difference(I am using 50.5/49.5). I have increased the right rear slow bump to 10,400.
