Hey guys been kinda MIA past couple of days have been working on some very cool stuff in terms of roll tuning. More on that to come so stay tuned, p.s. It's a game changer. In the meantime just so everyone is aware we are working on a total revamp of the program not only are we making the UI more modern, but we're optimizing the code, introducing roll tuning, allowing assymetrical setups in the design tool and much much more.

Viper regarding your question about the temperature graphs we may consider doing something like thst in the future, right now like you said we just average each lap, so when your not at nominal Temps your not getting a the whole picture, but the majority of the race you should be. The idea for video is a cool idea, we might have to see if something like that is possible.

    Morning Zach,

Thanks for this incredible piece of software, more than worth those ten bucks.

But I've found a minor error, those two values arent available ingame. So I guess the data of the 488 Challenge isnt correct.

In the new version (2.0.8) you will find a new face for an old tool. On the Tyre Analysis Tab you will now be presented with two sub tabs (Alignment, and Temperature). Temperature is what you guys are familiar seeing the addition is now you can adjust the recommend temperature profile vs it being hard coded.

Additionally, on the "Alignment Tab you will now find a graphical representation of what the tyres are doing. The graphic will show you tyre inflation and camber, it provides you a quick way to look at the graph and instantly know what's going on.
The black dashed line is the maximum temperature, if you cross that line your tire is overheating. the goal of these graphs is to get a flat top, if it's slanted you need more or less camber. At the bottom of the graph you will find suggestions, similar to the FFT suggestions these will tell you what you need to adjust to set up the tyres correctly.

Here is a picture of a Car on its outlap, that has under inflated tires

As we go out on and perform laps, the tyre will start to shape up by increasing temperature, after lap 3 my tyres were at nominal temperatures, the graphic is below.

As you can see from the graphic above, the car is pretty well set up, as the recommendations are minimal.

I like it. A simple concept, but looks effective.

Does version 2.0.8 include all cars in the game to date?

Not yet waiting on the data to come in, once it does it'll be uploaded.

Hoping to get a track map in the tool this weekend tho!

I am one of those who don’t know how or why a car works as I just drive them. I have been looking through the documentation from the guide you provided and things look well explained on what the objectives should look like when you are in the ball park of a base tune. So, I will be giving it a try in the next day or two. I have been using Jussi's calculators since the PC1 days and have been very happy with the results it has given me.

Thank you, that really means a lot. I created RST with that as our overall goal, "To take guess work out of the tuning process". And to help the sim community by empowering sim racers to use data (empirical) to drive tuning vs by feeling (subjective).

While some things still need tk be adjusted with by feel, we've helped reduce seconds off of peoples lap times over the default by allowing the user to visualize what the car is doing.
