Well... cockpit sounds are correct ATM, even considering that I've never driven a GT3 car IRL and probably never will, I think that being able to tell if, when and how the tyres are skidding is mandatory.
What I was pointing to are the replay sounds: it's literally impossible to catch tyres skid noise (or any other noise) over the engine and exhaust.

IMO, during replay we should muffle and lower the volume of every sound effect other than engine and exahust.

I have a couple of videos too, recorded with my phone (Samsung S8).
I'm surprised in particular by the quality of the built-in microphone.
There's no clipping at all and it has a really sensitive auto balancing: on the first video it catches the people talking when there are no cars passing, but it manages to catch the cars just a split second after that... and the Serraglio right before the tunnel was the loudest part of the track.

    Nice setup!

I was wondering how you got some of the closer photos and the magnifier was the piece I was looking for (or to see if you had a seriously expensive full frame 300-500 lense).

    Nope.
Just the good old multiplied 70-200.

Recently I got my attention caught by an used 300/2.8 VR (Mk.1) and a very interesting 400/2.8 AF-I at a shop I usually go to.
But, apart from the cost (they both stop the counter at around 2600 euros), it's the weight that gives me the shivers.
The 300 weighs a spit less than 3kg, the 400 is well over 6kg!
They offer a 400/2.8 AF-S, which is 1.5kg less than the AF-I.... for just about 1100 euros more.

I think it's enough to keep the monkeys at bay for the moment.
