[RESOLVED] Game doesn't adjust the wheel rotation based on car

So, I'm using Thrustmaster T150 and wanted to try project cars 2 with it. But I quickly found out that it's unplayable because the game just forces 900-degree (or something like that) wheel rotation on every car (formula/gt3 etc...).

Quick googling told me that the game is supposed to adjust the wheel rotation degree automatically depending on the car but for some reason, it doesn't do it for me. I've done in-game calibration and all that.

Driving a gt3 car and having to turn your wheel 2 full rotation to make the in-game wheel turn 90 degrees is somewhat frustrating...

So any tips or do I just stick with assetto corsa and forget this game?

Works fine for me, are you using default set ups?

I know that I had trouble understanding the in-game calibration directions, leading me to strange results. Here's how I did it after som googling:
Turn wheel left all the way, until it says '100' on the screen. Press A to save it.
    Then recenter the wheel.
Then, turn 90 degrees right and press A.

    Hope that helps.

I think that's the way the instructions tell you to do it. The problem might be turning to 90 degrees and seeing that the total degrees don't exactly agree with the degrees your wheel should have. You just have to believe it's calculated correctly when you turn the wheel to 90 degrees on your desk (or rig).

Yup, I'm guessing he hasn't calibrated the wheel properly. Nothing to be ashamed about because a lot of people (including me) didn't understand it correctly at first or second either.
You'll be ok once it's done correctly. Pay special attention to post #3 including not forgetting to save each rotation setting and re-centering before going on to the next rotation and repeat.

Yeah, it turned out to be calibrating problem indeed. Instructions didn't say anything about recentering the wheel but now that I did recenter the wheel before turning 90 degrees it is working correctly.

    Thanks, Maskmagog for the instructions!
