Agreed. The thing is, if I was to buy it, I would just sit there constantly wishing it was in vr, it would be painful knowing how excellent it could be.

Surely it doesn't cost to much for development companies to implement vr for PC? Especially a company like playground, who are now Microsoft owned!

If I was making games, I would want them shown in the best possible light and that would be in vr surely.

I am also sad to see the crew 2 not having vr.

VR is not where the money is for most businesses, including gaming, today.
Adoption rate is too low and investment is too high for return.
How many AAA companies released VR titles recently?
That might either change with next gen VR (hopefully) or just phases out like 3D.

    Good articles on the subj.

I personally don't agree with either of those articles, but that's that view. I'm sure some people will agree with them.

IMO there is nothing wrong with the tech, look at lone echo, beat saber etc etc, there are some amazing games available and the fact it has a wire attached to the rift or whatever is only a minor gripe.

If development companies won't invest in putting vr options in their games, such as FH, they are sadly complicant in vr not getting taken up.

    Thank god for sms etc.

Even with all disagreement in heart, it's hard not to admit that what author pointed out is true, big game makers are not releasing VR titles.
There was some initial interest from Bethesda remaking some titles for VR, but that seems died down, nothing new comes out with VR support.

I think as FH4 is marketed as an XB1 game, for casual players,VR support is a lot further down their priority list than it was for PC2,rF2,iRacing etc.
