Does anyone else have the issue when putting the airco on full blast the car stalls on accelerating?
It's like it has no power left to move the car...

I don't even feel much of a powerloss with or without the airco compressor clutch engaging.

So now that everything seems to be ok with the car i want to thank you guys for convincing me to stick with it.
I also want to thank each and everyone of you for all the help and advice you gave so i could get it to where it is now.

The scratch(es) i'm gonna attend to on my two weeks vacation at the end of August.

Also on the list (in due time)

    - New tyres
    - sports exhaust (the end bit)
    - chip tuning (for more low end power)
    - headlights with black background
    - black Renault logos
    - putting back the lowering springs

About the springs: I can go two ways about it...
1: paint them black and act like i know nothing at the MOT

2: I checked the regulations on lowered cars and once it has passed the MOT it just gets checked like any other car on the next MOT... I looked at the inspection papers and the idiots put "lowered car" on the tuning report with the OG springs on.
So to them it passed with lowered springs meaning they shouldn't make an issue out of it next time.
I will go to a different station though and paint them black anyway.
That way if they do say something i still have the documents to prove it got approved like that...

I think i need to charge the battery... It warned for low power when i was fitting the radio, and doing only short trips i don't think that's enough to fully recharge it?

After all you've gone through, it's pretty amazing to see that you like to still live on the edge!

Well i'm not going for more HP necessarily, just some more power on accelerating which i think can be done with an "eco-tune"
Allthough i must say that the "go on green light" is better than it was at the beginning...
IF i decide to go for it, it will be last on my list so by then i might have changed my mind already

IF your engine blows, it will most likely be because of high torque (low / mid-end grunt) and less because of high hp (high-end). Just saying. You shouldn't go WOT on a turbocharged petrol engine below 3000 rpm anyway. Especially when it has direct injection.

But you ARE increasing your HP in that low RPM region and put more stress on your engine.
Thinking that you're "not going for more HP" is a dangerous fallacy. You're adjusting the engine's torque curve, and not for the better (wrt engine lifespan).
Remember that HP is only a function of torque and RPM.
