Bring back the Host Kick option but take away the point loss for being kicked - everybody's happy(ish)

Rammers & Idiots can be got rid of and people don't suffer any points lost by getting kicked by an over zealous host.

a lot of the problems could be avoided if people were to create proper safety rated lobbies, but most lobbies are still U or F as that seems to be the quickest way to get enough peeps in for a "decent" race..(Quantity over Quality)

And maybe even more important: don't award the points to the remaining lobby members(including the host that kicked). It's a one click way of earning points. It should be treated as if the kicked person was never there in the first place.

I agree with you - and as an additional comment - some people like me have friends that are struggling to increase their license rating.
So to race with those people you _have_ to run a low rated license.
Technically it's my friend's fault for not getting in enough clean races, but you get my point.

+100 On the host kick option, but surly removing point loss from kicked players they got nothing to lose by doing it.
IMO safety rank doesnt allways ensure quality drivers, thier plently of S,A etc that race disgusting compared to U,F which a lot are much better racers.

But the points aren't for that. It's about skill(and a rating, not a rank), not a bank account.

If thier being kicked for ruining a race then they should loose skill points, cause thier skill is lacking,
if someone knew they was gonna loose a bunch of points due to thier position ie P9 P10 etc, they could do something to get kicked no points lost.

That's a big if, and there is no way to tell in place. Hosts make mistakes too and sometimes kick the wrong person(wrong name). Or they react to a vote to kick and don't even know what happened. Or they kick someone because their internet is (temporarily) laggy. And of course there are a lot of good reasons to kick someone, but also some more devious. Take the points out of the equation and people won't get so mad for being kicked, and the less fair hosts have less gain from it. Trolls are not only found on track.

But still the host and other players not being able to gain the points of the person that is kicked is more important. But the problem in that is is that the community as a whole starts losing points. That's why soon after release a lot of drivers sank under 1500(which was the starting point). Disconnects also resulted in (a very big)point loss and those points were gone forever.

IMHO a host-rating(however that may be implemented) might be an option. Not to prevent someone from opening a lobby, but if their host-score is low(er than average) you know he/she could make fishy decisions and you could decide not to join their lobby. One way to maybe do this is to see if you regularly kick people who are rarely(or never) kicked by other hosts(over a sufficient amount of races of course). And of course the other way around if you kick someone who is kicked often it adds to your score.

Agreed, but question is, have you ever been kicked actually by a devious host? In my case I've got by very very far a lot more disconnects than host kicks...

i've been host-kicked a couple of times by hosts who exploited the kick to boost their rating.

it's annoying, but nowhere near annoying as not being able to kick idiots who cannot understand if they are playing PC2 or Wreckfest

Everything is big IF's, currently the pentaly system doesnt work, IF they bring back host kick some will Marshall strict and Kick some wont bother then just complain about turn 1 carnage, IF theirs a ton of complaints back on this forum what are SMS gonna do,
a player gets a bad host score, simply just makes another acc,

The most effective way of keeping idiots out of your lobby is rules & options, allways has been allways will be.
If the penalty system stayed the same as it was on launch and every assit in game had a option to force off in multiplayer it would solve a ton of issues,
everyone one can race as they wish, from the SIM racers lobby - Arcade driver lobby
