Unhappy g29 brake pedal too stiff, what should i do?

my brake pedal is too stiff and doesn't like going all the way down, which is usually what i do with my other brake pedals. people have said this is "realistic" and "totally how real car's brake pedals work", i think it's not supposed to be this stiff. any help would be appreciated!

Get the GTeye spring mod. Makes it so much better and also you’ll have more feel in your braking rather than having to stamp on it.

Without modding you can calibrate the brake travel to be a little short. So heavy braking is just pushing against the rubber stopper and full brakes is applying a good bit of pressure, but not standing on it like the default. This helps you keep away from 100% brake and anti-locks or locking wheels. Unless you need to, like a spin.

So in PCars you can calibrate the pedals, just don't push the pedal the whole way down, just apply the pressure you want for full brakes.

Other mods include replacing the rubber stopper or drilling a few holes in it to make it more squish-able.

The bung gets softer with age.

When new I calibrated as venquessa suggests above. I have also set my dead zone so braking starts when the bung starts squishing and the pedal stiffens.

What tire compound were you using?
    What was your tire pressure?
What was the track and tire temperatures?
