Question Can somebody help me with this, Please!

This has only been happening over the last 3-4 days, I have not installed any new software...I have turned off my screen saver.
I have this Crash Log box (see picture)come up every four minutes, if I touch my mouse or press any key on the keyboard the box will disappear, making it near impossible to find out which program is responsible...
I did manage to get a screenshot before it went off which was helpful....
Is there any way of finding what is causing this? Any suggestions, please?....Thanks for any help

    Cheers, Swifty

Have you checked your Windows Event Viewer logs to see if there are any logs of an application or service crashing/stopping?

    You can also try:

-diasabling the anti-ramsomware feature in Defender (is causing lot of problems)
-going back to a previous restoration point (a week ago will be good)
-boot in safe mode and create a new user (for it is something with your user profile)

But if happens each 4 minutes, looks to be a service not responding. You have to check the Event Viewer (System and Applications) to see what is causing the problem.

Sorry for the delay in getting back.
I must say, I'm a bit green going this deep I'm just a basic user, my Desktop PC was built and configured 18 months ago by: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ This has been running great, except for this problem I post about

    1) I've had Windows Defender disabled , I use Malwarebytes Pro, and Zonealarm Extreme Security Suit instead, both now for many years...I did turn off both MB and ZA just to see if it was these, but no, back came the Crash Log after 4 mins. If I stay active on my PC the Crash Log never comes up, it's only when I do nothing for 4 mins it shows
    2) Windows restore for some reason will not work, each restore point I choose (tried 8 so far) goes through the restore re-boots and says: "This restore point has failed no files or folders have been changed" (or words like that)
    3) How to create a new user in safe mode?
    4) Event Viewer looks really scary to me I have over 2,000 events, warnings, and errors, (should I have this many?) at what should I be looking for?

You want to look under "Windows Logs", and then Application. See if you see any errors there which correspond when you have the error message pop up (based on time).

Just to validate, that message is logged at the time the error message pops up on the screen? If you know exactly how to generate the error box, you can right-click on the Application log then clear it. Generate the error screen and then look at the log to verify (in other words, clear the log so when you generate the error only relevant messages so should listed).

I did this (Clear the logs) and apart from 7 ESENT happening all at once, I've had a day where that error/warning box (in OP) has not been seen, I can't get it back (which is good ) So, here's the bit where a PC is like a woman ....They both play with your head, and when they know you're totally mixed up they come out with ..."What? Who me? Never said a word!
I thank you both for taking the time and effort to help, seems that I don't have a problem now? ... Thanks guys
