    Rally X tuning guided?

Anyone know of any links or tips to help setup Rally X cars?

What is the optimal tire pressure for the RallyX cars as it doesn't list Rally in Casey's tire pressure post ?

    Cheers

I haven't tried Rally X yet, but here's what I do when I wonder what good temps/pressures are: Start a Time Trial in an RX car on a rally track. The game sets atleast near optimal tyre temps and pressures. Might depend a bit on track/ambient conditions, but should give you decent temps/pressures to aim for.

Here is Casey's Guide for pressures, unfortunately the WRX cars are not listed, neither were the karts but Casey did chime in with recommendations on another thread. http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/sho...Tyre-Pressures Maybe he will see this and be able to offer a suggestion.

As for the Default tuning be optimized per track that is not the case. The track conditions are too varied, you need to adjust.
Here is WRX Catalunya RX track, note track temperature.

Bottom line is you will have to practice and adjust for now.

Hey, I can only check TT setups in TT, I am on PC. I checked the top 3 times at the Catalunya track and for TT no one made any adjustments for tire pressure at this track, this is not unusual for TT on PC because most of the runs I have checked the people don't usually adjust tire pressures regadless of the cars used. Mostly they are just running a lap or 2 and are not concerned with a race distance setup which is why they also close the radiators off or low. If you are not on PC and can't check out others setupos on your platform I can get setups from PC TT for you to look at, just ask for a specific car/track.

But if you actually start the time trial and immediately notice the temps, those will be the ideal temps for that condition. At least that is the way that I understand it to be.

    Hope this helps.

Yes, that is what I look at as well, but the pressures for most are cars are equally important, at least for me in GT3 the tire pressure running of 1.8 bar is important for example and on many tracks the temperatures you get when you receive manual control are difficult or in some cases impossible so you work at optimizing the pressures. The is a whole thread on this in the Garage.

Here is the old tyre temps thread, it has dropped down a few pages and I couldn't find it in the search.
