From a quick test it would appear vastly improved but can't confirm yet. With 21 AI in GT3 i was able to complete a 10 minute race around COTA. It wasn't perfect there is still some 'feeling' thats not the same as running solo however along with the tweaks to physics (tyre/ suspension) I was able to actually enjoy the race. Plus the kerbs were usable through the esses without being spun out every time. All in all this seems to be a very nice patch. Game looks a lot cleaner and sharper on the OG xbox also. Changes to the lighting and shadows?

    * little extra: The rear window in the 911 RSR seems to actually block light now, only the slits letting light through! Not sure if this was the case before but only noticed now

I'm still unable to navigate leaderboards past the first few page or two. I did a console reboot and a full cache clear by removing the blu-ray disc data. I am waiting for the images to fully load. I get "could not sync leaderboard" or "no records set".

I found the GT3s in career mode handle much better with a full grid, the car feels much more stable just like they should.

First, thanks SMS for another patch! Love the game and it's great to read about issues getting fixed.

Leaderboard navigation seems to work as before. Bad news for us slower drivers. JasonSandwich, your theory about gamertags pictures sounded very plausible. I wish we could get an option to turn them off.

I did a quick AI ran pace test, in BMW 320 TC at Brno, cause I just did that in career, and AI was super slow in rain. I was going to say that nothing has improved, but then I checked the times.. At AI 75 I was easily 5 seconds faster in the rain (this was a few laps in), I let the AI drive away for a while to get a clear track). In dry conditions, I was.. 5 seconds quicker. So first test shows definite improvement on AI pace in rain, great! Will test more.

Also, I now realize that I really need to up the AI level again. Not bad for an old geezer who started at AI level 25
