The problem is that with a xbox one x you have not that questions about fixes for AI, ffb, framerate. And like someone said a release from patch notes after certification is not forbidden.

Sadly ffb didn't work well on mugello with lmp 2016 and 11 AI. Graphics are seem improved. Some tracks looks now really great. But I would buy a pc, bevor I buy a x for a racing sim.

.....Remember back in the early days when consoles, especially X360, didn't need their games patching because they, erm, worked first time of asking
That being said, in between driving round the low-res, poorly rendered, micro stuttering, inconsistant framerate but highly playable ovals of Heat 3 I did reinstall PC2 and view it in all it's patch 7 glory for the first time ever on my new 4K TV.. It looks stunning and plays real well (yes, even with a controller) but probably for the reason I uninstalled it in the first place, having already finished career in it's entirety and not really sharing the same enthusiasm of the 13 GT3 obsessed people spread across five lobbies I really didn't know what to do with the game beyond the initial 30 minute 4K novelty period so I went back to driving round in circles again.
For anyone with an X1X and anyone who's never played it, today's PC2 is a highly recommended game that shouldn't be overlooked. I just wish I was one of those people instead of being a day one purchaser.

Q:Why did the XB1 gamer cross the road?
A:To render the graphics on the other side.

Sound bug at Laguna Seca still there. Reverb when passing under the bridge between (I think) T5 and T6 continues for a few seconds, killing all immersion.

Question: Has it always been an american spotter at Laguna Seca? Haven't used the spotter much before, so I don't know.
    Yes their has.

This is excellent news. I'm curious if the career races are better now for the original Xbox players.

15 seems to be the absolute limit, as was mentioned, in clear dry conditions. Beyond that number, things start getting wonky. I recorded some footage last night and was watching telemetry vs. various numbers of opponents. These were all done with:

    *Cayman GT4
    *COTA National
    *Current Date
    *Medium Cloud
    *Stable setup, 30L

I did a personal test (myself being the only car), a free practice session with 15 opponents, and a free practice with 21 opponents. Solo testing felt great, no issues. With 15 opponents, I wasn't able to quite hit my target times (off by about 1s per lap), but I'm willing to live with that and maybe write it off as not getting a clean lap due to traffic. With 21 opponents, what struck me was that FFB felt noticeably heavier (wheel weight), even though the telemetry didn't seem to show any obvious difference (though I fully admit, those FFB telemetry bars don't make a whole lot of sense to me).

Whatever was going on besides that, the other main thing I noticed with 21 opponents was that it was nearly impossible for me to get my tires up to temp (they were a good 50-60F below their optimal range). Whatever was going on that made the handling different and made the car feel less stable and predictable, made it so that I could never push the car, could never get the tires to the proper temp, and that just compounded the situation even more.

If you have 15 or fewer opponents in a career series that you're running, you might be able to have a good time. Any more than that, and if the weather changes, I wouldn't bet on it. Changing weather may not necessarily hurt the situation, but I don't see it helping either.

That argument is valid up until the point when the patch is actually released. Now that it's all been verified, certified, and is in our hands, what is stopping a more detailed set of notes from being released?

Additionally, if the patch actually fixed the problems I'm having with the game, then great...I wouldn't much care what the notes said either, and I'd be happy to jump in and enjoy all the shiny new toys. But it hasn't, which is why I'd like to know in a little more detail what has actually been done.

I'm pronouncing this Bealdor's law : every patch discussion thread eventually turns into a patch notes discussion thread

That's not true. Xbox 360 games needed patches as well. I'm surprised you didn't remember that. Even OG Xbox games had patches. Wrestlemania 21 on OG Xbox shipped with the multiplayer broken. You couldn't even access the multiplayer screens. They had to release an emergency patch. Even Gamestop wouldn't take that game as a trade in because of that back then. Forza Motorsport games on the 360 got patches to fix things. Not just to put DLC on the game. They had the patch notes. Lots & lots of games had em'. I just won't mention them all

However, only people that had Xbox Live got them. You'd have to go further back. Say PS1 era & back. I've done updates for a ton of games since OG Xbox. I've been on Xbox Live since it went live.

I think they've adjusted some of the kerbs, to the better. In particular the outside kerb at the entry to Graham Hill at Brands Hatch. That one used to give me nightmares, it has sent me spinning sooo many times. Seems much more reasonable now, great! Now it's only Paddock Hill that gives me nightmares Kerbs in general feel more reasonable now. They can still make me spin, but nowhere near as often.

Not sure if it's the patch or my recent upgrade to X1X that fixed it.
