in-game VR settings no longer responding to changes

I have an Oculus Rift and after I get the car on the track I go into VR settings to adjust my position so I am correctly in the driver's seat. When I try to move my seat forward or upward it, nothing happens. None of the VR settings actually modifies my position in the car. This just started happening in the last month or two. I have reinstalled my oculus software and reinstalled Project Cars 2. I have an Oculus Rift, 1080ti with an i7 6700K. Thanks!

There is something to add to this. When I adjust the mirrors in the VR settings the game does not save the settings. Next time I get in the car I have to reset the mirrors.
