Any 8-bit music fans out there?

Back in the 80s when I had a Commodore 64 the one thing I loved most was the music from guys like Hubbard, Galway, Gray, Daglish. I already found a Windows .sid player many years ago so I could still enjoy the music on my PC, and this week I also found that there are such players for my Android phone. Happy me, now I can listen to that music on the go as well

I also found that C64 music hero Matt Gray started a couple of Kickstarter projects to re-make his and others' C64 music with modern tech, called Reformation, Reformation 2 and Reformation 3. All three projects reached their funding goals and the music of the first two projects is already available for purchase, Reformation 3 is scheduled for delivery in 2020. I've been listening to the music since yesterday and it is truly great IMO, highly recommended if you are into 8-bit/electronic music.

Still believe Galway's Title Theme form Parallax is one of the greatest pieces of sid chippery to ever grace this earth.

Agreed, though my personal greatest of all is The Last Ninja soundtrack.
I learned this week that one of its two composers, Ben Daglish, passed away earlier this month, though Sad news.

Stellar amount of good remixes of c64 classics can be found at RKO:

My favourite: Amiga/PC composer Allister Brimble's remix of Rob Hubbard's Lightforce.

Regarding Matt Gray's Reformation work, you can also buy a 'best of' selection and the fictitious Dominator 2 soundtrack separately at Bandcamp.com: https://mattgray1.bandcamp.com/
