VR viewpoint fixed to steering wheel

Hi guys, quick question. I've hardly played PC2 in the rift for a few weeks, as I'd been having what turned out to be power supply problems causing crashes and reboots. I just replaced the power supply this week and set up all my peripherals again, but now, when I'm playing PC2 in the rift, my viewpoint is fixed to the wheel, so I can rotate my view around and look out of the windows etc, but if I lean forward or stand up, the steering wheel remains fixed in my view and moves with me.
Does anyone else have this, or has it been changed in an update maybe? I know that in the past you could stand up in the drivers seat and look around the car and surroundings, so I'm wondering if I have a tracking issue or something with my rift. Any thoughts appreciated.

I have had this a few times when launching PC2, it seems to happen out of the blue, not sure on the exact reason, but If I quit the game, open oculus home, go to Settings > Beta > Restart Oculus, it all then works as expected again... until some random time it decides not to.

It could relate to me sometimes firing up the rift whilst its not got proper tracking, i.e tracker is on the right of my screen, but hmd is hanging on the wall, slightly out of view.. although I do mostly fire it up when it is in view, I have yet to properly investigate.

I play in rift pretty much everyday and have had no issues like that; there has been a number of RIFT updates recently and maybe worth re-installing RIFT which is what I normally do

Yes, I think it's the sensors. I'm getting poor tracking quality, even though my sensors are in the same place they have always been, suddenly it's the wrong place. I'll have to do some fiddling about.

I often have issues with one of my sensors...I would say >50%. I see it in Oculus Home as it shows one sensor not responding correctly. I just have to unplug and reinsert the USB for the sensor quickly to resolve.
