    KartKraft

Long announced, it is out now on Steam Early Access.
And VR is on the roadmap.

    https://store.steampowered.com/app/406350/

i added a link to a small video, showing some nice gimmicks.
start at second 30! the video isn't edited.

A car driving by, trees moving by wind. Cheering visitors and a man at the barbecue, constantly smokin.
Sure, its not nescessary to have this as while racing you'll not mention it, but such little things could be the soul of a track.
Remember Bannochbrae in Project CARS 1.

Every car could be a race car, as long as you have the balls to drive it like that !

    didnt try too much.
Assigning pedals, buttons etc was easy.
Steering Karts is a little bit ..... direct

    Steam reviews are very positive.

There is a review by Jimmy "blablabla" Broadband

If using a controller, it's either way too twitchy with steering assist off, or feels like you really aren't controlling things when it's on...

I'll try with a steering wheel at some point..

Also, way too much gamey crap in it.. just stick to the driving!

Are there settings to adjust sensitivity & deadzones? Can you do it while on track or do you have to leave the track and go all the way back to the main menu to adjust controller settings?

    KartKraft

Just bought this sim a few days ago, and even though it is still in early access, it feels really good. Looking very promising for the days ahead as a specific Kart sim.

    This thread desires a kick.

I just got this and it is an absolute blast like I said in the look I just bought thread.

The force feedback and handling are really good. Although Physics needs a bit more polish it is in the right ballpark.
The force feedback is second to none though. It is spot on with a real kart and it is only impacted negatively by the few areas the Physics is lacking.
The only thing I would love to be transmitted better somehow is braking forces. I just can't feel the tyres load up under braking as well as I'd like.

That send the Genk kart track (Max Verstappen his home track) will be in. Plus all the tracks being laserscanned is just a massive plus in my book, especially for this still low profile racing sim sub category of games.

As I said in the other thread. The ability to modify kart parts later on will be really awesome.
If they can implement an online career system like iRacing than the diversity between karts on the grid due to variations in parts and setup will be great.

I can't wait to see the end of development of this in my opinion already pretty amazing kart game.

Hmmm, my limited experience with karts is that there's hardly any feel in the steering wheel? In my experience, steering in a kart is always heavy, and everything that happens with the kart is felt through movement of the kart?
