That's literally >5 hours every single day since release and I don't think R3E was put on the back burner since 2017...
I couldn't handle that much screen time even if I had the time for it (I do not, lol), especially when exclusively playing racing games (except for CS:GO).

Yeah, I think he is much younger than many of us here, so he can handle it more easily. 5-6 hours per day may sound a lot, but if that's your hobby and you can handle it, why not? Allowing 8 hours for sleep, there are still 10 hours available in the day for other stuff!
I wouldn't be quick to say someone is lonely or not. I'm also at 3-4 hours per day, but socialize a lot...well still at least. But it does help a lot that I am fortunate enough to be working from home, so usually none time wasted in movement to work, meetings etc.
